Good quality cardboard. Comes with plenty of ribbon to hang. The holes go through the center of the letter, as opposed to the top, which is a little odd, but it looked okay. Half to a third of the price of the ones I saw in the store. Does take a few minutes to poke all the holes out and string the ribbon.
