I was looking for a lightweight beret for a French themed party on a hot summer evening. It was perfect! I have a larger head size, and because it’s knit, it still could stretch a bit, and fits comfortably all day! The quality was fantastic, and ir didn’t trap heat like a traditional wool beret. I’m definitely buying them in other colors now!

I’m bought this hat in several colors and this black one is not the same quality, there is no adjustment for head size band and it looks like the headband is already stretched out. The cardboard used to keep its shape is wrinkled as if everything is used. I’m disappointed with this purchase.

Hat was definitely still a cooler weather hat-not suitable for summer , cotton or not. Quality was so-so. If they aren't going to send a brand new item they should offer a discount up front. I may have kept it-but not at full price. Returned.

I love these cotton knitted berets: I bought 3 last year. They are warm without making your scalp itch under the hat. I totally appreciate them.
