My only real complaints are that inside on the flap that holds the sticks and covers the bells when closed has a hole/worn through spot on both sides of the flap. I guess from friction/vibration during delivery. The music stand is a bit difficult to expand and it took me a few tries to even figure out how it was supposed to go. The mallets seem like they are going to break easily. I had to put back in 3 of the screw fittings around the practice pad...luckily they were just floating around inside the plastic bag containing the pad. I just hope it holds up through the school year.

It was really nice case and everything was in great condition, sound is good, in an earlier review you do have to screw the practice pad and bells to the stand it comes with. The only thing that my child said that was different from the one at her school was a couple notes were not marked correctly (for instance the schools has a note that is marked for d / e which shows that note has 2 notes a/b , a/g, c/ b this product does not have those marked that way. The d/e is only marked as D, a/b is only marked as A, the a/g is only marked as G. C/b is only marked as C. ) but other than that it was great product. It's worth getting and the price is great. The bag is excellent that you can transport it with ease.

Exactly what daughter was asking and hoping for. It is rare that there is not pleasant chime emanating from daughters room before bedtime.
