When trying to unscrew the tight cap to access the brush it popped open and paint spilled out. Unscrew it slowly! I shook it for a full minute and paint pigment still had some separation from the oil base. Shake it for a couple of minutes at least. Suggest applying in temperatures over 60F. It's better to do a couple of coats, because I found the first coat didn't completely cover the scratches. It dries fast, but after 24 hours it looked even better. I scraped a curb with black glossy wheels, so the shiny aluminum underneath showed. The scraping wasn't gross, so I decided to not use the brush and used the point dispenser instead. I pushed it several times into a paper towel until the paint started to flow, and I was able to do the whole job, even some of the wider scratches, with the pointer tip because it dispenses a good amount of paint, and you can be very precise where the paint goes. When I finished I'd say on a scale of 1 to 10 it came out an 8 or 9. You wouldn't notice it was there unless you were looking for it. Just take your time and go slow. Great product. Highly recommend.

So, I recently got this pure black rim touch-up paint. I'm not a car detailing pro or anything, but I've got a few little nicks and scratches on my rims from parking too close to curbs (who hasn't?). I figured I'd give this a shot before taking it to a shop. The bottle is a decent size, not tiny, which is good. It comes with both a pen tip and a little brush, which I found really helpful. For the smaller scratches, the pen works well. It lets you be pretty precise. For a slightly bigger scrape, I used the brush, and it covered it pretty evenly. The instructions say to shake it for about 10 seconds, which I did. I also tried it out on a piece of cardboard first, like they suggested, just to get a feel for how the paint flows. It dried pretty quickly, like they said, in about 8 minutes. I put on a couple of coats on one deeper scratch, and it actually covered it up pretty well. It's not a perfect fix, you can still see it if you look closely, but for everyday driving, it's definitely a big improvement. It definitely made them look way better than before. It’s a practical way to hide those little imperfections.

Instead of taking my vehicle to a wheel repair shop to fix the wheel I got this touchup paint that can touch up a small area of paint chip off my rim which it save me a lot of time and money. It is very simple to use. I just touched up the area then just let it dry and the color turn out pretty good. Sometimes I may have to do few coating on the rim instead of just one coating.
