I bought this tape to cover two decals on my bike and add reflective stripes for the sides. The 3" width covered the decal bikename and blended well with the bikes orange color. The tape is very reflective and provides additional visibility.The tape is fairly stiff which made it easier to apply. The glue is covered by a removable nonstick material. I could peal and fold the covering along the long edge and made it every easy to align on the frame. I could place the top edge, remove the covering and press the rest of the tape without creating bubbles or raised edges.If you need a stiffer reflective tape for applying to panels, bumpers or other painted surfaces, this is a good tape to try.

We wrap PVC snow poles with this reflective tape. We cut the lengths long enough so the tape comes around and overlaps so it sticks to back onto itself. It is outside in severe weather, however, sometimes the tape simply comes loose from sticking to its top eflective surface. I wish it had a stronger adhesive glue backing. Right now we see about 15% of the applications have come loose and are falling off. For the most part it is ok after 9 months use now, we will see if it holds up for years. It does stick better than some we have tried, however I wish the adhesive was stronger sticking it to itself. We really mash it down hard trying to make sure it has a good adherance.

Our community has standardized mailboxes with backlighting behind the green plastic house numbers. The lights do not work well at all and the numbers are difficult to read. I put the reflective tape behind the number cutouts and even when hit with low beams from a distance it looks like all the green numbers have a bright light behind them. Very pleased with the quality.

I used this with a student group where we had to put reflective stripes on the sides of a human-powered submarine. Our vehicle was submerged for one week during competition, plus for pool testing in advance. The tape adhered well and the reflective tape showed up well on underwater video. I'd definitely use this tape again.
