It is commonly used for water transfer, trash pumps, irrigation, and septic/waste applications. This hose is designed to be attached to the suction side of a pump and has a vacuum rating of 28inHg. This hose has a 2" inside diameter. 2" fittings with a hose shank can be attached to this hose with various types of hose clamps. This hose has a max working pressure of 65 PSI at 68 degrees Fahrenheit and a service temperature range of -14 Degrees Fahrenheit to 150 degrees Fahrenheit.

Item was as described. Durable and functional. Slightly stiffer than expected but does the intended job well. Great value for the cost.

I was having problems with my sprinkler system which draws from the lake. I had bought a 2†high pressure suction hose from a box store and it had sprung a leak. I replaced it with the heavy duty hose and suddenly all my sprinkler system problems went away except I was getting so much more pressures I had to readjust my sprinkler heads. Not a problem I mind as it took care of every problem. It is very heavy duty and is smooth on the inside and exterior. The only issue I had was the hose is extremely tight getting the fixtures on the end but that’s the way it should be!

The best product for your pump siphon hose and is more durable than the clear plastic that fades and cracks in the sun.

Buyer beware, the listing for the 1 1/2" 20 ft hose states the OD is 1.83". It's more like 1 3/4" on what I received. The difference is small but when you buy your fitting clamps based on the listed specs, it's a problem.

hose came in a timely manner but out of the box with an unknown to me at that time 6-in parallel with link split which I did not find until I put the hose into service as a foot valve for suction out of a creek 1-1/2"X 20' inside diameter not listed, too tight for inch and a half OD barbs (1.42"). is those cost me a whole day in troubleshooting trying to find why my pump wouldn't prime who would have thought that it would be under water where brand new hoses split Midway, then I find out for return reimbursement you only get a partial if it's not in the brand new in box condition, how the heck are you supposed to know it has a leak in it until you put it in the service for crying out loud.
