I dog sit, having good dog treats on hand is a must. Dogs in my neighborhood also enjoy a healthy treat with minimal preservatives.

My dog loves this dog chew. I love it because it’s not rawhide, has a chicken flavor and is not easily destroyed. My dog is an avid chewer. This keeps him busy much longer than some of the others.

Not for my pups! One of mine got sick eating these. Not sure why but it just didn’t work for them. Gave to a friend and their larger dog 20/30 lb loved it and did not have any issues. Mine are 5/6 lb and 11 lb toy breeds who are serious, serious chewers.

My Havanese is very hard to please when it comes to treats, but this little roll of love is top on his list. Ziggy is very smart. He thinks if he runs to his hideaway bed and hides that treat in the very back and waits an hour or so, he can come back in the kitchen area and stare at his treats jar, meaning he wants another. That might work with a 3 calorie treat but these are packed with love and protein that should be saved as a special treat a few times a week. Plus, it takes all day to eat. He adores this treat. It has NO RAWHIDE in it, which I’ve found gives Ziggy an upset stomach, and vomiting.I’ve never seen one last more than 1 day with constant chewing (after he figures out he’s not getting another one for backup) but for the small size, that is a very nice treat for my Ziggy.I would recommend these for my Great Grandmother’s Dog (I like him)

I bought this for my 60~pound poodle and the smaller version for my 16 pound maltipoo. It lasted maybe 5-10 min for my large dog. It’s not chewy like a bully stick, I would say it comes off in chunks. Neither dog had a choking problem though. I bought this because he has a sensitive stomach and it says it is easily digestible, however, 24 hours later he threw it up and tmi but it was still in solid chunks. Maybe my dog is just too sensitive for this idk but my little one seems fine and the 2.5†version maybe lasted max 20 min for him. I just don’t see myself purchasing this again for my large dog.

I purchased these bones for my 2-year-old golden retriever. We always check the ingredients to ensure she gets the best. The bones are advertised as rawhide-free, gluten-free, made with cage-free chicken, and wholesome vegetables. I assumed these would be perfect for her. I bought two packages, and within five days, she had consumed two of them.Suddenly, she started scooting her butt across the floor obsessively, which was not a typical itch. My husband and I were really worried and started researching and talking to friends with large dogs. It seemed that the issue might be her anal glands. In the meantime, she was passing feces with white chunks, which we assumed were pieces of the bones. Then, she started vomiting a white substance that looked similar to an old pink eraser or bathroom chalk (rubber in general). We were racking our brains to figure out what she had gotten into. For three days, she consistently scooted her butt and vomited the same white rubbery substance at least once a day, along with passing white pieces in her poop. While I was at work, my husband sent me the picture above. He decided to look at anything that she had been given recently that she had never had before, and these bones were the only new thing. The inside of the bones matched precisely what our dog had been vomiting and passing in her stool for the last few days. By the 5th day, she stopped scooting, her poop had no more white pieces, and she had stopped vomiting. Finally, she had passed all the substances out of her system and was back to normal. What a scare! I am writing to warn people about this and hopefully prevent others and their furry babies from going through what our family did.

Our dogs have been using No-Hide for a while. Even they say no hide it is rawhide-free, the texture is very similar to Rawhide and one of my dogs experienced some serious choking issues for a couple of times. Luckily I was right by her side. So I have been some other rawhide-free products that are also delicious and safe. I could not find anything in the local pet stores and recently discovered LuvChew on Amazon and decided to give a try.The rolls have a lot of chicken and absolutely no sharp pieces came out while they were chewing on it. When their saliva came out, it kind of softens the bones a little. Definitely no choking problems. Most importantly, my dogs love them and can fully digest them.Plus, these chew rolls are cheaper than No-Hide. Win-Win!
