When I first noticed my 4l80e leaking, I was dreading having to drop the pan, but this tool made it super easy to pull the old seal out and press the new one in. Even comes with the seal! Great price, great product. Look no further if you have a shift shaft seal leak.

Having changed the seal I can tell you that there is no chance of doing the job without this gizmo. There is no way you're going to dig that tiny seal out and not damage the housing casting. This plucked it right out. Drove the new seal straight in. Nicely made. Sturdy. A bargain.

It did not fit the shaft of my 4L60e. I had to bore the hole out. And the end that is supposed to grab the seal wouldn't grab I had to file it down on my lathe to get it to work

Works great, expected no less! I've had a similar tool for TH350s, TH400s, 700R4s for years, works just the same.

The tool doesnt fit caprice 96 shifter seal you should do some modification the shaft is slightly larger than the tool hole you need to grinde it and enlarge it at least 0.3mm an you need to gind the thread slightly and you need long bolt m9 to extract the seal the seal is the same when you try to set the tool to the shifter shaft use the screwdriver and puch it use the exhaust pipe as leverage and you need 19 mm spanner turn clockwise and push with screwdriver.
