These here double sheave pullys are worth their weight in Titanium! I use them for mechanical advantage stuff. Some for lifting very heavy stuff (with ease) and some just to have fun. It is fascinating to me.I have some large staghorn ferns hanging in my yard and sometimes I have to lower them with block n tackle (Like when we are about to have a hurricane blow over). It's fun to be able to lift 200 lbs plants with ease! Some of my double sheave pullys have been in the outdoor elements for years and they still look nearly brand new. They're strong and relatively inexpensive. Get some.Get some. Oh, and they come in different colors, which is also fun.

I love the build and material quality. I know it’s not what they’re designed for, and you’ll probably shudder at this, but I use these pulleys with my winch system on an 1100 pound Kawasaki Mule UTV. My winch uses rope instead of cable, so it doesn’t destroy the aluminum spools or the side sheaths on the pulley. I use two pulleys to create a 3 to 1 haul system ( I’ve been a vertical caver for 30 years ), thus tripling the power of my winch ( Warn 1700 ). Of course, they can never be used for caving or any kind of vertical safety work from now on due to my obvious misuse of their intended purpose, so I labeled them retired and keep them far from my actual vertical gear. I tend to buy Petzl brand gear for my normal vertical systems, but I have to say, these pulleys are built as well as my Petzl pulleys, and a lot better than other mainstream/more expensive pulleys.

I am a climber, but I'm not using these for climbing/rescue.I purchased these to run home run wiring in the house that I'm building.I have had excellent results pulling multiple 12-2 runs simultaneously as well as 6-3 runs! From experience with high end pulleys, these are a bit sloppy, they have some play in the sheave.I don't know what kind of "ball bearings" they use, but my Rock Exotica, Petzl, and CMC pulleys don't have that wobble.Overall, a good pulley. I would have to qualify it before I climbed with it.

As a solar contractor. I use block and tackles to move heavy panels and tanks in to place for hot water systems. These are high quality and stout. It made moving a 300 lbs tank into place very manageable (along with other blocks).I am very pleased with the convenience and performance of the equipment.

I use mine for lifting and lowering cables in a stage hand setting. It's perfect and lightweight that I attach it to my belt when working in the catwalk.

I chose the GM Climbing Pulley to use in pulling loads and lifting. Using the reduction in force required, I'll use these for pulling large loads by hand. It's not for pulling SUVs out of the mud, but it will work on a lighter ATV if it's rigged properly. I bought 4 of these rather than the paired pulleys that are promoted as a block and tackle set-ups because the weak link may be the carabiner, rope or strap you use to anchor the pulley. With individual pulleys you can anchor each one to a separate anchor, thus increasing the capacity of the whole system and avoid pulling out the anchor point or breaking a paired pulley. These pulleys can handle 1/2" rope. The pulley wheels are large diameter, reducing the stress on the rope and friction as the pulley rotates. I compared a lot of pulleys from various sources, including rock climbing suppliers like REI and other outdoor equipment stores. This seems to be the best quality pulley for the price and job it's intended for.

Bought several of these, along with other pieces of equipment to build haul systems and different block and tackle riggings to work on my roof and move heavy objects. The pulley is performing well after several uses. Built a Z-Rig last week to help pull out a UTV stuck in some mud. Would buy more if I needed them

I use a larger diameter(5/8") rope for rigging and it is difficult to find a sheave which will accommodate it. This particular device has a large enough size that it fits in nicely. It is easy to secure to an anchor point; I typically choke a round sling around a beam. Having the freedom to pull a point from a more secure footing is particularly helpful when in situations that require extra lines tied to the load, plus using a device like this allows the second or third line to be operated away from another person to insure that everyone stays safe. I will eventually get a self-locking sheave but I will retain this device in my toolkit to use as a redirect in order to preserve any mechanical advantages these devices give for pulling heavy loads.

Ancora da testare ma sembra ben fatta di facile utilizzo e con un buon carico di rottura ha dimensioni generose e un largo range di diametri di corda utilizzabili.

Cons: ExpensivePros: They work exactly as expected, great weight capacity, easy method for removing/re-adding cable.I made the mistake of buying cheaper roller pulleys, which were noisy and didnt roll at all. The friction was so bad that lifting 5lbs felt like moving 50 lbs, also the cable got so hot im sure the vinyl coating would wear off in no time. I decided to fork out the money on these (bought 3) for my upper and lower cable machine. As soon as I installed them I was happy. They are significantly quieter (depending on load), roll with ease. Also since how these swing open it was easy to swap over to these without having to take the cable saddles off.

林業の架線集材(ジグザグ)で、木寄せ作業などに使ったけど、強度に問題は無かった。あれなら色んな事に使えるかな。保証はしないけど(笑)
