This is the exact GM replacement master assembly. My clutch pedal went to the floor after 3 pumps on my 2001 LS1. This part fixed the issue, clutch works perfectly. I also installed a speed bleeder hose from Tick Perf. and bled system with fresh DOT4. Only way this part does not work if you have used a very different with pressure plate design, then I'd buy the Tick adjustable master cylinder.

Bought for my 2000 Trans Am WS6, it works but the shaft is too long and my clutch pedal is now an inch higher than my brake pedal, very disappointed.
