It has the great advantage of being practical and foldable, the only bad thing is the weight, when it is placed on a speedlight it tends to move the flash head due to the weight

When I received light, I had to really practice with it so that I would not use too much light. Product was a little hard to adjust and understand how to use. Once you figured out the settings it worked great

Received this product but the knob on the plastic pieace was stuck, I was unable to adjust the head on an external flash. Got a replacement the very next day but had the same issue. Disappointed.

This has been the only Godox product I have not given 5 stars. It is too bulky to use as a on camera flash modifier.

I photograph events and sometimes I can't carry a lot of equipment. Flash-on-camera produces hard shadows. The usual cheap plastic box over the flash is not really that effective. Bigger flash boxes are bulky.This is a compromise. It's a good compromise and not too expensive. I have only recently bought it and not used it at an actual shoot. However, I did do a test with a couple of people and the test results were good. And ... I can also use it in my home studio as well (with other slaved flash guns).

Great product, but a little bit heavy when used on camera. I found that it will either make the flash fall forwards or make it loose on the horseshoe, causing a disconnection.Great for off camera though, really brightens up the room.

This thing does really soften light down especially if you directly aim it at a person but it comes at a price if you shoot a mirrorless like me. The weight of the v1 on top of Sony A7RV is already off balance but add this thing on and it’s really uncomfortable. This adds so much front weight to the flash it causes the flash to droop down to the floor too. So for that reason I’ve returned it. But I still give it a 4 star because it does make a drastic difference in softness.
