The rosin is slowly cooled in a plaster mold, allowing the plaster to absorb any excess moisture that may arise during the cooling process. Despite the additional time and care required by this manufacturing technique, it is employed to minimize deformation.

I firmly believed practice, technique, and better equipment = a *good* violinist, but never considered rosin a big deal. Got my bow rehaired and this is the what the luthier used on my bow. When I tried it out, I kept thinking, “What did he use? This is the best bow rehair I’ve ever experienced!†My tone was smooth, bow changes undetectable, everything just felt so easy! When I switched back to my regular rosin, the experience changed. I am so shocked how huge a difference this rosin has made in my playing! It’s worth the price, so happy I made the switch!
