I shoot a Barnett "Revengeance" reverse limb crossbow (390 fps w/ 400 grain bolt), after "tweaking the cams" to increase the discharge velocity (to 425 fps w/ 400 grain bolt), I added 70 grains behind the point insert on my Gold Tip Nitro 22" bolts to raise the total weight to 600 grain and at 390 fps (I now have a FOC of 12.5%, KE of 202 lbs w/ my QAD fixed broad heads) these work Very well to adjust the FOC, increase the KE- I use "Loctite 242 blue" but any thread locker will work (get the suggested long allen wrench), when using a good bolt that can handle the extra weight (a stiff spine is required for a lot of added weight) it gives my bolts the "Punch" I'm seeking for thick skinned game such as Elk (maybe a Black Bear next year)- a note for thought , w/ the Ballistic 425 I didn't add but 20 grains to stay inside the recommended 7-15% FOC because of the thinner wall thickness, Thanks Amazon for carrying such "extras" for those of us who like to get maximum KE for hunting, and to all who take the time to review these items -Update 6/21/2021, I just added 50 grains to my "BEE's and Zombie Slayer's" much improved POI , Closer to POA

The shipping was super fast. They came the day after I ordered. They were in a Gold Top yellow bag that was unopened. There are 12 50 grain back weights that are used for adding weight behind an insert. Just make sure the inserts you have are able to have these threaded into the back. You can tighten them down with a Allen wrench. I’m shooting the Victory VF TKO shafts. They are the standard .245 shafts. There is around a .02†clearance. They slid in good. All you have to do is tighten them down really good and even add some blue locktite. Don’t use red because it will be darn near impossible to pull apart. Use the blue. I would even suggest getting the gold tip Allen wrench specifically designed to be used with these weights. It’s a really long Allen wrench that can be used to add or take away weight from behind the insert after being glued in. You pull off the nock and the Allen wrench is long enough to reach all the way down to the tip. So play around with the FOC and once you get the right amount of weight you then add blue locktite to the threads to lock in place. Either way these are great and exactly what I was needing to add a 13% FOC. I’m super happy. I would definitely recommend.

I've shot gold tips for over 20 years. Recently was upping my game and looked into adjusting my FOC, found these weights which were compatible with my arrows and current inserts. I made my own tool to install them and they work great. You can hear a difference in impact on target. I don't see a huge change in flight or accuracy, but based on the theory I'm confident they help.Recently bought a second set, as I've settled on an arrow build and I want to have a lot on hand.

Great product weighs exactly 50 grains. I love anything made by Goldtip. Have been shooting their arrows for 30 years.

All weights were within 0.4 grains of the advertised 50 grain weight. Easily threaded into my Hunter XT 340 spine arrows with the (not included) extended Allen key wrench.

Greatest idea ever for arrow weight. I didn't know this was an option until recently. I have added weight and now have a much better FOC. My arrows are hitting with more punch. Just what I wanted.

sure, you could use a 200 grain broadhead, but to those that dont want a sail at the front of their arrow, two of these screwed behind my 100 grain slick trick got me from 7% FOC, to 16%, (15-20% i think is perfect). Just use a little blue locktite and they have yet to loosen after hundreds of shots, but can be removed when needed. Awesome product.

I wanted to add weight to my arrows without changing broad heads. These and the FACT wrench make is super simple and effective. You have to have the wrench to install them unless you put them on your inserts before you glue them.

Great for arrow FOC building. It fits all standard shafts and works best with 400-220 spine. Made my bare shaft and knock tuning easier. Allows me to use lighter broadheads too. GT is great.

Added these to the back of my carbon arrows for tuning. When paired with the gold tip insert system and shafts they worked great. I finally had the right amount of weight to get true straight flight.
