I've been looking for something like this forever it seems like.I remember my grand-dad having pump cans like this, and they worked really well then.Flash forward to today, I picked up two of these, and they still work just as great.Best of all, no leaks.Quality steel, sturdy, and easy to use. I like that I can get the WD-40 (or whatever) exactly where I need it to be, and not everywhere else. Best of all NOT PLASTIC!!I may pick up a couple more for chain saw oil, and anything else I can think of.

I had been looking for a pump oiler ever since I accidently left my 40 year old Eagle on the back of my dump truck and lost it forever. As others have said, it would seem an easy chore except for the fact most new oilers are made in China and pure junk. I bought one from Harbor freight and got more oil on the floor then on the part, it is now in the yard sale box. This one from Goldenrod was a welcome find, and Made in the USA! Quality is first rate with no leaks what so ever. I am in the construction business and these things get hard use. I read some reviews complaining of a thin finger lever, well its plenty sturdy, you won't break it and works every bit as good as my old Eagle one did.I cannot fault this oiler in any way and am very glad to have found a decent "oil can". Goldenrod also makes a super heavy duty model, go to their website for a description. I considered getting one until I saw one on display at my tractor store. While that model is also very well made it was just too well made, meaning extra heavy parts and far more then the average garage would ever need. The "727" it is the one pint model which gives it a heavier bottom, less apt to tip over as the 1/2 pint ones.I would recommend the Goldenrod 727 any day, I like quality tools.

Works great to add a small amount of cutting oil where you need it while machining on the lathe or mill

Purchased this recently for a mixture of "dope" that's 1 part ATF and 1 part acetone for breaking rusty nuts/bolts loose. I read about the body leaking but decided to give it a shot. It's been full of the mixture for a couple of weeks now and the body isnt leaking at all. However, the flexible nozzle is leaking close to the base. It's not a bad leak at all, but a leak none the less. Good strong shot of fluid, doesnt seem to lose it's prime and for my intended use I am happy with it.

Quality unit. I’m planning on using it to bleed aircraft brakes from the main wheels in a Cessna 172. Looks like it’s going to be just the ticket.

These are good pumps and worth the little extra over the "imports". I tossed my few cheap ones once I got and used Goldenrod pumps. I will stick with them in the future, but the way things are, I probably will not need to buy another. They are good pumps.

Worked great for 1 month. Thereafter it has begun to leak oil from the base, which appearsto have just been folded at the seam. I had even taken the precaution of loosening the head from the body to alleviate pressure buildup after use. What a mess to come back to, a ring of oil where I had left it. Fortunately it lives on a lathe base plate so there was no harm except for the loss of oil and my time. Very disappointing from an American made product.

It works as it should but I guess u expected it to be a little heavier built. Like everything else now a days , it won't last as long as the one I replaced it for!
