Box arrived and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the volume specs supplied by Goldwood were correct. Other reviews of this product on another site hit the nail on the head: you can't build a box for this little $$, much less a box this well made. Carpet seams are noticeable, but WHO CARES at this price! Stretched & glued the flaps back into place and voila! No more seams. Binding posts in the terminal cup?!? Completely sealed joints?!? Pick out the shallow/small box woofer of your choice, wire it up & enjoy. You won't be disappointed.

Was kinda skeptical about this purchase at first. I was concerned about the mounting depth. But my Alpine Type R 12†sub dropped right in perfectly. The sub has a mounting depth of 6.38 according to Alpine. The box also fit good underneath my back seat ( 2002 GMC Sierra ext cab ). Should be the same for 99-02 silverados. I hope this helps someone looking for a box that flat out works with deep mounting subs. But make sure you check you sub’s specs before buying. Overall for the price and quality I Highly recommend.

this is a really well made box but its not really a truck box i would highly double check your measurements if you are going to buy this for a truck because i have to do some custom things to my rear seats to make these huge boxes fit with enough air space.. other then that very well made box sub fits perfect no problems:)

Good build quality, glued and sealed. Good fit behind Silverado single cab. Has deeper mounting depth than any others I looked at, cuz my Rockford HE needed almost 6 inches for depth. This box is a shallow but a little bigger for the deeper mounting. I had to give up a little seating room for the passenger but oh well.Most others only have a max mounting of 5 1/4 inch. Also gives a bit more cubic feet for better hit. Lined it with poly, and it hits hard in the truck.

I needed 1.25 for my sub so I stuffed it with polyphill ,sound pretty good ,put it on the top shelf in my bedroom closet running off the fosio 300 mini amp ,the skar 12" 500w max gets it @ 4ohms and fits perfect,thanks Amazon, I'd like this box for a 15" sub to save room id get 4 and cross fire them ,or at least 2 lol .

From the looks of it. Very well built but I had to shave it down a lot to fit a jl tw3. Should be good for regular shallow subs

Great product, fit my 12" Rockford fosgate punch 2 perfectly and was able to put the speaker directly behind my driver's seat.
