I bought a used Audient ID22 from England. Seller said it worked beautifully. I received it only to find that I couldn't use the adapter, as it was for UK wall outlets. Stupid me. Okay, so I used my Audient ID14 adapter first. Didn't work! THE AUDIENT ID14 POWER SUPPLY ADAPTER DOES NOT WORK FOR THE AUDIENT ID22. I got white noise that hovered around -40db. I tried my adapter converter I use for traveling to put on the UK adapter. Didn't work, same problem! Then I switched surge protectors, thinking I might have a bad surge protector. Then I bought an adapter from Amazon that is supposed to be "compatible" with the ID22. Half worked! Sometimes the phantom power worked, and sometimes I still got that white noise issue when I turned the phantom on. I thought, "Shoot, I bought a bad interface and it's too late to return it." I was convinced that this was a bad unit and I didn't know how to fix it. BY THE WAY, I believe all this testing of wrong voltage KILLED my microphone capsule. Never test newly acquired used gear on an expensive microphone! I should've tested this without the microphone first. Ooph.Anyway, I read online that Audient ID22s are actually well known for having voltage issues out of their XLR inputs (and that they use the wrong adapters), and one person solved it by using a 12v with 5 amps adapter. I thought I might as well try this as a last ditch effort rather than resell the ID22 for parts. Thank goodness I didn't trash this unit!THIS ADAPTER WORKED. 100%. This is the one to get. That person on the internet was right. Don't get a "compatible" adapter. Get this one. Now my Audient ID22 has NO voltage problems and I've turned the phantom power on and off dozens of times and have NO ISSUES. Everything is pristine and has a clean signal. Audient ID22's must need more juice than the ID14's or something. Their power supply adapters are ineffective. Hallelujah!

The design is great! You get multiple different plug adapters to fit almost anything. If you need this exact output voltage for your equipment, there is most likely an adapter that will fit your needs. I used this to replace the power adapter for my bowflex max trainer

Doing as advertised and we are so far pleased with its performance. Time will tell the tale on longevity and quality and we will update in approximately 6 months on its functionality. But for now we are satisfied. Four Stars âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸!!!
