Good salad tongs. It can be separated (spoon and fork). It has a small connector in the middle. Just be careful not to break the connector while you mix your salad. The broken connector can go into your salad, and might break your teeth (we broke it and it falls into our bowl, but good thing we didn't break any tooth). Other than that its a decent salad tongs.

Sturdy feeling. The ones I received were shamrock green. Transparent green but definitely green. They still work, just be aware you might not get clear ones.UPDATE July 2015: Upgraded to five stars. These are still working wonderfully. It also looks like Amazon has updated the picture so that you know you are receiving green ones instead of clear ones. Many reviewers complained that these break or become separated in their hands. They are DESIGNED to come apart in the same way a nice pair of kitchen sheers separates so you can wash them better. These attach in the center for one handed use or detach for two handed tossing.

These tongs look and feel great. They are solid and a good weight, not flimsy, but I wish they opened wider.

I have already returned this once and the same thing happened with the replacement. This product easily breaks whereas the two spoons become detached from each other. I would expect more for the price paid.

Hi I really like it but I was so sad I thought it will come in green color but it was clear color it's ok but the color make me sad but I will use it for my salad thanks anyway ðŸ‘ðŸ»

When the pair I had finally snapped, I should have gone to my local supermarket and picked up another pair. But being the lazy person I am, I decided to find a pair on Amazon.These seemed to be the best value for what I wanted. Just a simple, plastic, scissor-like set of salad tongs.Well, I should have studied the picture more closely, because I would have noticed the fact that the hinge/axis point is closer to the tongs than it is to the handles. What this means is that you need to open your hand much wider than you'd like the tongs to open. It makes it very uncomfortable to use, unless you only want to grab a couple of mouthfuls at a time onto your plate. You can see in the product image that the space between the handles is already wider than the space between the tongs, and the tongs are barely open enough to grab a tomato chunk.My suggestion...just go to your local supermarket and pick up the plastic set they sell in the kitchen gadget aisle.These get 2 stars simply because they're better than nothing at all.
