I ordered this three times from Amazon and all three times i got just the roof mount. No finial came with it. Had to send all three back. I finally reached out to Good Direction's directly and they took care of me. They sent the items (roof mount and finial) and we couldn’t be more pleased. The finial is absolutely beautiful, pure copper. My wife gave up on the Amazon order but I wanted to give it one more try and reached out to the company. They matched the price and shipped it free. Consider yourself advised!

I have a small sheet metal shop and was debating making my own seeing the prices of most of these finials online. I hesitated when I found these as I thought the price was way low to be of decent quality. Due to time restraints I decided to go ahead and buy these instead. They are very well made, I wouldn't have come anywhere near this craftsmanship. The solder joints are very solid and 22ga copper is very stout. I work with 16oz copper and this is at least twice that thickness.They could use some quality control though, out of five, one was damaged. Seems someone dropped something heavy on it and the spire was bent. Not enough to break the solder joint but as stiff as these things are, I would guess it was quite heavy or from a decent height. It was in a box well packaged with another finial so the damage was done prior to shipping. They shipped it anyway. I was able to straighten it somewhat but I didn't want to break the solder joint and have to return it so I'll install it in the back facing away from where anyone can see the bend. It's also 30ft off the ground so I doubt it'll be visible. Still, it's disappointing but for $140 bucks it cant be beat.I didn't think to take any pictures but if I can edit this review later I'll add some. I'll also change my rating to five star if I'm contacted and they want to overnight me another finial. I need to get these installed before they return the lift so I don't have time for the return process otherwise.

Product was made from very thin metal and appeared to be glued together then a smear of material like plaster used at seams in place of a weld. The paint was already flaked off the seams when I unboxed the item! I ordered two of these....the other item had been bent then they attempted to straighten it and repaint it! A JOKE! DONT BUY!

Ordered 3 of this item. All three were dented but not to the extent they could not b used and dents turned toward back of house.Two were broken loose at seam and had to b adhered back together. Would not order again.Price to hogh for poor quality

This is beautiful genuine copper and I really wanted it but there was no way included to attach it securely to the roof mount. It just sat on top of the roof mount. Granted it was a long post, but I would think a strong wind gust could lift it up off the post. Weird. Had to return.

The finials are very nice except that the two that were shipped to me came with dents on the large ball. The second one is slightly discolored and makes a rattling noise when you moved as something loose is on the inside.
