Our home is located in the foothills, so our property has a definite slope. Our shop is below the house, so moving things from below to the front has been tedious dragging things up with a regular hand wheelbarrow. Especially our cut wood for the wood stove. I was skeptical about the usefulness of this item. especially since it is not a cheap decision. However my husband pressed and we decided we could return if it did not benefit us. We ordered, got it built per instructions. Not too bad a process. My husband started using immediately and has not stopped. All two cords this year were split below the house and "wheeled" up. We are doing some fence post repairs, and all the concrete bags have been moved easily with the electric wheelbarrow. I was concerned about the maneuverability of the unit over bumpy terrain, but loaded is does very well. It comes with 2 batteries so my husband keeps one charging all the time and can then use it pretty much all day. He is so happy we got this to help with moving materials around our property.

We just received this product and tried it out this weekend. The purpose of buying this is to assist myself (in my 40's with hip and back problems) and my mother (in her 70's with the same issues) in hauling mulch all over the almost 1 acre yard. We have a lot to mulch and a bit of a hill to haul it up. We had been using my gorilla cart to do this, meaning she would pull/guide and I would push from behind (mainly got it up by me pushing as I don't want my 70 year old mother to hurt herself). It was back and hip breaking work. When we got this cart we were hoping for a miracle and by George I think we got it! Where has this thing been since I bought this house!? I hope it never dies, as it has been a godsend in the 3 days I've owned it. Customer service sucks though. We called then emailed because we were having trouble with a bolt and wasn't sure it was the right one, we didn't get much help when trying to put it together. There are also a few design flaws. 1. The battery box opens weird, the opening should have been on the short side, not the long side, it doesn't open all the way so the battery is not the easiest getting in and out. 2. The end where you can dump. The door drops down and hits the ground. It should swing out, not down. So you have to lift the door to fully drop the cage and then you have to be careful when raking out the material because you are then raking on the back door. 3. The instructions are not the best, none of the nuts/bolts are labeled. We found two bolts inside of the black knobs that are where you attach the wheels to protect it during shipping. Had to pry those out as we could not pull them off.It would be nice if you could pick if you want a solid cart or the one with grid. I don't think the grid is very strong, plus, I want to haul mulch, so not all of it stays. We put in a board on the bottom secured with zip ties so that nothing will fall through and also to protect the gears underneath. I'm hoping this thing lasts a long time, because it is expensive and it also is so so so useful. I would totally buy again and would have bought sooner if I knew something like this existed. I will update my review if this dies in the near future, but am crossing my fingers that it doesn't.

Well engineered product. A few notesHeavy loads going up steep uneven paths need to be done in reverse to get weight distributed to drive wheels. Besides that is does all i ask, it will hop curbs (in reverse) and get your stuff where it needs to be.Would be nice to have brakes that actuate when you let go. Going down steep uneven paths , it is possible to loose control and you wont see your cart till it stops at bottom. I put it reverse and gently apply power to slow it down. If anyone knows how to retrofit brakes let me know !

I expected it to really struggle when going up a steep incline.Especially since I tested it when empty trying to push it up a hill. With no weight in the cart, there is very little power delivered to the wheels and I had to use my own strength. This is due to traction control. But as soon as you put 100 lb in the cart, the traction control allows more power to the wheels and I don't have to use any of my own strength. Counterintuitively, the more weight you put, the less you have to work. As long as the weight is over the drive wheels. Which means going backwards uphill or going forward downhill, is the best way to keep traction. It's useful to keep some small wheel chocks when going up or downhill. Has there are no brakes other than the caster wheel locks (which you can't really operate if you are trying to prevent it from rolling down).I went through about half of one battery moving an entire pallet of 80 heavy stones in about a dozen trips, 20 meters up a steep incline. It handled it without breaking a sweat. More importantly, I did not break a sweat.

One of the battery died in less than 1 year of ownership.

I would have easily gave this 5 stars but there is one flaw. No hand brakes. This is a major miss. There are wheel locks which is great when the cart isn’t moving but when you are going downhill with a heavy load or going uphill and you need to stop the cart?? How do you do that? You can’t!Everything else is great. Good power, easy to steer, handles the weight. It’s been a huge help on my property

Love this motorized cart. The four wheels make it balanced and easy to maneuver. Itvwill make it so much easier to transport heavy itmes around my yard.

I purchased this for me and wife. Found assembly not too bad. Having 4 wheels a plus, power is Ok, but it doesn't last very long. It's pretty, but this is as far as it goes. Can't be used on tight spaces. You would need to move back in forth. THE FRAME IS WORTHLESS!! I can bend the middle bars with my hand. The grating is also very thin. If it wasn't for having a fourth wheel, I would have gone for a cheaper one. I don't expect too much life out of this since its starting to rust in between the metal. I would not recommend this unless you need the fourth wheel.
