This copper is thick and bends up to a 90 or elbow shape by hand. I didn't have special tools to try and repair a on demand hot water heater that burst from freezing temps. So I figured I would try this tube and bend it over the heat exchanger . It soldered on view well with zero leaks . Turns out my water heater had other issues like thermal runaway but it was worth the try for a cheap repair. It fit a 3/8 th inch brass barb fitting inside it and allowed me to solder water tight joints , see imagine attached. It functions good and is of good quality. No issues.
