I used these for pigs and they held up well. The caribiner kept them clipped to the metal panels. They did knock them off after about a month of use but I was then able to zip tie them. They are nice and deep to hold a scoop of grain minimally and can probably hold two. This was a great price for a pair. They held up during periods of extreme cold in the Wisconsin winter and withstood 3 destructive pigs. I think the process was great for what you get, cheaper than at my local big box farm store.

Got it for my dogs outside. The clips are too small for thin rails on a porch. The zip ties were a joke. So if using for dogs, get more durable!

I was looking at hanging feeders for my Nigerian Dwarf Goats so they stopped head butting each other at feeding time which usually resulted in spilled food and waste. I came across these "chicken feeders" and they work great! I hung them in my Goat Barn - it makes feeding time less chaotic and food waste is no longer an issue. Plus being off the ground helps with keeping it sanitary. For the price these are great feeders!
