I haven't tried this on a lake yet but it was relatively easy to set up and I like the look of it. I think it will be durable and work well. I don't understand why they made the seat bottom, seat back, and side pockets (that you will rest your forearms on) out of black nylon material which will inevitably get very hot if left in the sun for a while. I think that this is a design flaw. I had to buy a special, expensive, light colored, flexible, spray paint for vinyl and fabric to make them light colored and not get too hot in the sun. After this fix I think it will be a perfect float tube. The side pockets are big and will fit a lot of stuff and the shelf behind the seat back will fit extra gear there too. Maybe I'll update this review after I get it out and use it on a lake.

It is perfect for my use. The rod holder is very hard to keep straight. Ended up taking it off. This is a good value for the money. Flippers are hard to get used to. Need the paddle to turn the tube

Takes a little more time to inflate than I thought. Be careful using pump as it must be put on level ground. Plastic and fragile. Mine came broken and had to wrap it in duct tape in order to use it. Is able to inflate it to high enough level, just be gentle using the pump. Sits well in the water. Back rest caused me to lean a little too far back although I think I could have adjusted the seat strap stiffer to bring to a more upright position. A little tricky getting into it because once you sit in it the pontoons want to come together and it is somewhat cumbersome to put in the cross bar by pushing the side pontoons apart to fit the cross bar into its slots. Once seated it is very stable and you have to purposely lean over extremely hard to flp out of the float tube. No leaks. Overall I am happy with it despite the fragile pump. Be careful though cause if it breaks while you are pumping it up at your fishing spot, you'll be fishing from shore! You might also want to check into getting scuba fins to replace the the two strap fins they come with. I was fishing a very cold water lake and my hands were frozen by the time I got all four straps put on my wader shoes.

Basically I’m an old man that needed a way to get on the water without spending a fortune. This float fit the bill. The only thing I would be worried about is the ease of getting out of the boat. At 69 years old I have a bit of a struggle basically having to do a reverse squat to get out. It fishes and works great for small waters.

I just received my fishing float tube and have not had the opportunity to inflate it and test it out. At this point, I'm giving it five stars. I did remove it from the box (box damaged in shipping) and did a quick look over. I love the black on dark camouflage color. The storage "bins" are not actually bins. They are made of the same material as the float is and seem sturdy enough. I didn't unzip the to find out if there are supports stored inside. They are nicely sized and secured on both side floats. So, you won't have to worry about them falling off into the water. The mesh opening is also black and is well secured. The seat looks like it might be large enough for a tall person but won't know for certain until the floats are installed. There are full length, sturdy, zippers on each float section to allow insertion of the bladders. The fish mesure is also made of mesh and secures on with velcro. The pump (not shown in the picture) is made of plastic and comes with attachable tubes for pumping up the bladders. The bladders have the usual "blow up" stems. I'm a little skeptical about those. Looking forward to setting this up and testing it out. Look out fish! Here I come!

Oh where do I start? The instructions have no pictures to visualize what they are instructing you to do so you're pretty much on your own. There's these weird patches in the pockets that I have no idea what they do. Now on to the fun part. My son and I take these down to the lake (I bought 2) and we start pumping up the pontoons, only for the cheap plastic on the pump to crack so air now escapes from the pump. So now I've gotta hold on to the hose to keep it in place with the pump as I'm pumping or it just falls off. It's seriously the cheapest plastic I've ever seen. Once the boats are constructed, I notice, there's no place to store a small tackle box on the boat. You have these 2 small pockets on either pontoon that can barely fit any tackle. You can't bring a small tackle box or cooler so all that has to sit on the shore as you paddle back in and out of the water. So now we put the fins on and sit down in the boat, and immediately the fins start to come loose. My son and I keep pulling the straps tight to keep the fins on but within a few kicks they just come loose again. I specifically bought this boat because it came with the fins where other tubes didn't. So now we look like idiots trying to paddle with the fins in our hands (because they were no use on our feet) and because we left the oars at home not thinking we would need them. Good luck trying to change your bait out in the middle of the water as trying to hold your rod and bait your line is less fun than jumping on a trampoline in a room with a ceiling fan it it. The whole reason I bought these were to be able to paddle out to areas I couldn't reach from shore and fish for hours without needing to go back to shore. Good luck with that with these. Lastly, my son's boat already has a leak in both pontoons and it's only the first time we've used them. I'm kicking my self for purchasing this garbage.

Setup was easy and the overall construction seems quite robust. Includes everything you need to get out on the water. A little tricky to get in and out of gracefully but once you are in the fishing experience is exceptional. Reasonably easy to maneuver. Probably stable enough to comfortably duck hunt out of. The seat is comfortable and you can inflate to whatever you find to be the best for you. There is a strap from the crotch of the seat to the apron bar which I believe is essential for not slipping out. The seat height is a good balance of high enough to effectively cast and low enough to not be a wind sail. The rod holder, pockets, livewell net, and apron are well laid out and seamless to use. I do recommend getting a small net that tethers to the float tube. Using the included paddle in the standard fashion just spins you in a circle. Use the draw technique instead, and this is only worth the effort if you lose your fins. The fins work well enough with or without waders. I prefer my snorkeling fins when fishing without waders. A descent sized fish feels like an absolute trophy when caught in this which also scales up the fun. Children are able to use this under supervision and the only issue I had was when notifying them that their turn was over. For $218 at the time of my review I find this set to be quite reasonably priced for value offered and would recommend.

I’m 230lbs, floats well and tracks straight.Light weight and easy to carry to the water.Pouches store a lot of you need it, but I only put in a bit.Has a few Velcro patches well placed to hold rod and more.I glued a small rod holder to one of the Velcro patches and it works great.Overall it’s a great product and built pretty tough. You’d be hard pressed to put a hook threw the cover, under normal bumps.

Bought this and the right air bladder was leaking air right out of the box. No good!!
