I use these while snow blowing my driveway. They are much better than gloves. I can move freely and also my hands stay warmer because of the mittens design. Down insulation is lightweight and very warm. Water proof barrier is such a welcome feature as it blocks the wind and snow blowing back a me. Great performance, high quality product!

Replaced my ski gloves with these "minimalist" mittens and there's a huge improvement. They're very light, super warm, have a nice silky layer inside, pack down small, and provide even more dexterity than I had with gloves. It's also easy to slip in a glove liner for very cold days. Very happy with my purchase. I'm surprised there aren't more reviews but maybe it's because they are relatively new.
