If you're searching for the ultimate cold weather protection for your hands, look no further than the Gordini Men's Gore Gauntlet Mitten. As someone who spends a lot of time in chilly conditions, I can confidently say that these mittens are a game-changer. First and foremost, the construction of these mittens is top-notch. The Gore-Tex insert provides exceptional waterproofing and breathability, ensuring your hands stay dry and comfortable even in the harshest conditions. Additionally, the Primaloft insulation offers superior warmth without adding bulk, allowing for excellent dexterity and maneuverability. The gauntlet design of these mittens is a game-changer. It provides added coverage and protection for your wrists and allows you to easily secure the mittens over your jacket sleeves, effectively sealing out snow, wind, and cold air. This feature alone sets these mittens apart from the competition and makes them a must-have for anyone who spends time in the snow. Another standout feature of these mittens is their durability. Whether skiing, snowboarding, or shoveling the driveway, these mittens can handle whatever you throw at them. The reinforced palm and fingertips provide excellent grip and abrasion resistance, ensuring that these mittens will last for many seasons to come.

I purchased these Gore-Tex Mitts for a cold-weather expedition, so I haven't fully tested the warmth capability, but they are certainly comfortable. Other reviews were good and they were at a good price-point for Gore-Tex. They are guaranteed waterproof and windproof and those were the two main points I was looking for. I have a pair of warm liner gloves and they fit nicely inside and should make an excellent combo for keeping warm.

These are incredibly warm. If your hands get cold, they won't in these. My only complaint is they are a little large and it feels like they are slightly twisted. Not a perfect fit, but very good for the cost and very very warm!

The wife and I have now used these mittens for our annual week long ski trip for two years. We frequently had cold fingers when using ski gloves. These mittens have kept our hands warm and dry while skiing and snowboarding. The adjustable strap on the back of the mitten seals at the wrist, preventing snow falling into the mitten even during a fall. In the event they do get wet, it is easy to turn them inside out to dry overnight. We added safety straps that attach to the wrist so we can take the mittens off without worrying about dropping them ( for example from the ski lift!).

My son used to these for half the season, after his old mittens fell apart. He’s a ski instructor on weekends in western Massachusetts. He did not complain of cold! They do hold a lot of water when you put them through the laundry, but so far they have made it through two wash cycles and come out well.

I just finished skiing during a day about 10 degrees. My hands got a little sweaty when I was trekking across flat spots, but then the interior dried out. My hands felt a little cool after 2 hours, but never too cold. In the afternoon I wore a thin glove liner and my hands stayed very warm all day. I'm very happy with these mittens!

These gloves are great! Though they didn't fit at first but I'm not used to mittens. You don't keep your fingers extended straight out ever and that is the only time they felt tight. if you keep your hands relaxed, it is a great fit, even with liners(your hands will sweat bad, liners aren't necessary at all). Bought them for skiing and these are a straight bargain!

These have been warm and were well priced for good quality mitts. Good for skiing and snowboarding.

-13°C/-16°C with wind chill (~9°F/3°F)Today's ride, at first they felt chilly and I figured they would suck. Luckily there was lots of rough snow to push through and by the end of the ride hands were a bit sweaty. So it might be ok at this temp if you are exerting yourself heavily.-20°C / -4°F wind chill. Nope. not good enough. Had to put thin gloves inside just so I could finish my ride without needing to amputate fingers.Really ticked off that the insulation does NOT cover past the hand, what kind of cheapskate stunt is this - oh but they included a sample of goretex that will end up in the landfill as it is too useless for most purposes. You might think a company that claims to be based in Vermont would know what cold is.
