I have arthritic hands and chopping vegetables has become tedious and painful at times.All you do is clean the vegetable, select a VERY SHARP BLADE, and bring the top down. It takes me 2 wacks and my onions, potatoes, carrots...... are prepared for the dish I am cooking. My hands no longer ache from chopping.I must warn you, the BLADES ARE VERY SHARP. They must be sharp to work properly.Hold the blade insert by the surrounding plastic. I keep the squares of blades stacked in freezer bags, inside the clean chopper. I pull out the one I need by the sides and keep the rest enclosed. They store well inside the chopper.This item is not safe for children to use without close supervision. I have knicked myself just bumping a blade.That said, it works like a charm. The blades are surrounded by thick plastic that can be used to drop them in place. When I am finished, I tip the chopper over so the blade easily drops in the dish pan. I use a brush and the utensils included. They are also dishwasher safe. (Boy would I love a dishwasher.)It was well worth the price and I can whip up a chicken salad, chopped salad, and potato salad in a flash. I love this product.

I bought this chopper to speed up chopping for different salads. I works great on a variety of foods. The chopper has a large variety of cutting blades, and cleaning tools. All the blades, cleaning tools and a small guide fit conveniently in the bottom of the container.I have one warning. These blades are extremely sharp. I would not recommend letting young children use it. I personally cut my finger. (I wasnt paying attention when changing blades. Totally my fault not the product)

Yes, this does save time, however I'm giving it a 4 star only because the top of the chopper, seems a bit unsturdy...meaning it feels very hard to go through some vegetables, like an onion for example, and the lid feels like it could break easily. That was my main purpose for buying it in the first place. Otherwise, it seems plenty sturdy and works well, and very easy to use. I like the multiple blades it has with it as well.

This is amazing! Easy to use, sturdy and great results! Diced a hard red onion with ease. Dinner preparation was much quicker than normal. Can't wait to try out the slicing and other features. Great piece of equipment!

I purchased this for my husband who loves to cook. He used it for the first time tonight to chop up potatos for supper and he loves it. He says blades are very sharp which makes it easy to use, very durable and easy to clean!

This is very easy to use, saves so much time for prepping foods to cook and store away for later. It seems to be built very well and the blades change easily. It's very easy to clean, just make sure you use the included cleaning utensils or you risk cutting yourself on the cutter blades. Highly recommend it

Originally I bought this so that my chopped foods would be more uniformly sized and cook more evenly. I didn't realize that it would also make the job so much faster. AMAZING!with cooler weather coming I'm really looking forward to using it for my soups and stews so my veggies will cook more evenly.I love, love, love it!!

Struggled with both onion for the dicer and apples for the slicer - also takes up a lot of cupboard space
