About this item

  • Gap filling: Gorilla Glue Construction Adhesive also works as a gap filling adhesive caulk for in-home projects

Gorilla Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive is a tough, versatile, all-weather adhesive. The 100% adhesive formula provides a long-lasting, heavy duty bond. We call it All Surface, All Purpose*. The gap-filling, durable, 100% waterproof adhesive formula is perfect for indoor and outdoor projects, holds in 30 seconds, and bonds virtually anything including subfloor, mirrors, trim, drywall, landscaping, bath surrounds, foamboard, marble and more!

*Not recommended for use on polyethylene, polypropylene, bitumen or similar materials.

DIRECTIONS:

All surfaces should be clean and free of dirt, grease and oil. Best if used above 40°F.

1. Apply adhesive to one surface in a zig-zag pattern or inside perimeter of the object. Be careful of squeeze-out. When working on rough, uneven surfaces, use enough adhesive to fill gaps.

2. Within 10 minutes, press surfaces together and hold for 20-30 seconds. NOTE: Heavy items may require temporary support. Use in conjunction with mechanical fasteners when hanging large mirrors.

3. Allow 24 hours to cure. Note that cure times will increase with lower temperature, humidity and if bonding non-porous surfaces.

I’ve been using Gorilla Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive for various projects, and it has proven to be a reliable and strong adhesive. This product is incredibly versatile, working well on a wide range of materials including wood, metal, concrete, and tile1. The bond it creates is exceptionally strong, and it sets quickly, which is perfect for both indoor and outdoor projects2.One of the standout features is its all-weather formula, which makes it suitable for use in different environmental conditions. It’s also 100% waterproof, ensuring a durable bond even in areas prone to moisture1. The adhesive is easy to apply and provides a quick grab, holding materials in place within 30 seconds1.However, I did encounter a minor issue with the tube design. It can be a bit difficult to dispense the adhesive, and in some cases, the tube arrived dried out2. This can be frustrating when you’re in the middle of a project and need a smooth application.Overall, I highly recommend Gorilla Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive for its strength and versatility. Despite the occasional issue with the tube, it remains a top choice for heavy-duty construction and repair tasks.

Gorilla Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive is my go-to for any heavy-duty bonding needs. This stuff sticks to just about anything—wood, metal, concrete, and more—and creates an incredibly strong hold. I’ve used it for home repairs, DIY projects, and even outdoor applications, and it has never let me down.It applies smoothly, dries quickly, and holds up over time, even in tough conditions. Unlike some adhesives, it doesn’t have a super strong odor, which is a plus. If you need a dependable construction adhesive that lives up to its name, Gorilla delivers. Highly recommend!

I used it to mount some things on my wall and it worked wonderfully. I tried using it outdoors and the results were mixed so I took away a star for that.

Used it to glue landscaping bricks because the neighbors kids kept kicking them around. Works great.

I just realized that it's been 2 years since I used this stuff on a birdbath, and it has held together perfectly. We have a birdbath that came in two pieces: The pedestal, and the disc that sits on top and holds the water. They were really only kept in place by gravity and a small nub. We had frequent problems with raccoons and other animals jumping onto the side of the disc at night, in order to get a drink of water, bringing the whole thing down. After trying a few hardware fixes, I bought a tube of this stuff, brushed off the porous surfaces as much as possible (they just kept generating concrete dust, so I eventually gave up), slathered both surfaces, and united the two pieces of birdbath. They've been one solid piece ever since. Seriously, you can now lift the entire birdbath from the top part. Nicely done, Gorilla.

I SHOULD HAVE screwed a pointed tip onto the tube, but - in desperation - I just squeezed out a bunch of this adhesive onto where my hose holder had ripped away from my stucco wall, stripping the screw holes. I propped it up against the wall with a stick for 24 hours. It worked! After 28 years of baking in the sun, the original mount was baked. The white adhesive shows, but I'm due to have my house painted soon, so it won't matter. I'm thrilled. I used my hose the other day and as I wound it up, the holder didn't budge. Great product.

Easy non expandable glue. It worked for me and once it’s used as directed months later it’s still holding the repair well.
