Say goodbye to friction burn. All-new 210D HT (High Tenacity) CORDURA on the back panel and underside of the shoulder straps is less abrasive and doesn't irritate skin or chew up delicate apparel (looking at you, merino wool).
ERGONOMIC LUMBAR SUPPORT
An additional 10mm of EVA foam padding along the bottom section of the back panel supports the natural curve of your back. It’s raised up, protects you from friction from seams on and if it’s exposed to your skin, that’s no problem either.
EXTRA PADDED STRAPS + TOP LID
Shoulder straps are extra padded to carry heavier loads more comfortably. Plus, tons of padding (1" thick) at the top to protect during dynamic movements. Yes, that means Bear Crawls and burpees.

The Ruck Plate Carrier (Long) fits a 30LB Long or 45LB Long plate and is ideal if you’re a larger guy.

Got this for my gf and she loves it! Solidly built, used the 20lb weight in there as well as the ten and both work well. Gives her the extra workout she was looking for while going on walks with our dogs.

THE WEIGHT CAME FIRST THEN ABOUT THREE WEEKS LATER THE BAG. THEY DON'T GO TOGETHER THE WEIGHT IS LONGER THAN THE BAG SO I CAN'T CLOSE THE FLAP THAT HOLDS THE WEIGHT IN PLACE. BOTH ARE WELL MADE ITS A SHAME THEY DONT GO TOGETHER

I own the RPC 3.0 in both long and short, which is an important difference to understand. Amazon currently appears to only sell the short, so this will work for anything up to 30 lbs. The long and short versions, not surprisingly, require different sized ruck weight plates, so ensure that you are buying the correct plate for your carrier! There are plates available for this short/standard version ranging from 10 to 30 pounds, using cast iron plates or even the fillable sand ruck plate, also from GoRuck.Although the short/standard size won't hold the 45 lb plates that the long can carry, the shorter length of the carrier makes it more comfortable to wear for the weights of up to 30 lbs that it can handle. That makes it less effective for training heavy rucking, but more effective for weighted runs, speed rucks, exercises in the gym like weighted pullups and weighted pushups, and even for adding some training value to everyday activities like dog walks.As is to be expected from GoRuck, the build quality is exceptional, the padding is well placed and comfortable, and the SCARS lifetime guarantee will resolve any unlikely problems with the carrier. The only thing that I would like to see added in the future is a way to use some kind of waist strap, but that is more of a desire for the long size carrier. Even without the ability to use a waist strap, the product is still an easy 5 stars, given the craftsmanship, functionality, and lifetime guarantee. This is a tremendously worthwhile investment in yourself.
