We have had a few floating goals which proved to be disposable in weeks. This goal is sturdy and the water in the base can be emptied to move locations or store for winter. I’m very pleased with this purchase!

What a great way to add some fun and competition to pool time with this poolside basket ball hoop. Super simple to put together, with a spot to add water to the base to keep it weighted down. I like that this unit uses water instead of sand which is just a mess and half when trying to fill or even empty at the end of the season. Showed this unit to the neighbor that has the pool that we can use and she was ecstatic. He said she even couldn't wait to use it. Should be easy to play with but I would probably recc. removing it from direct sunlight at the end of pool play time to help with keeping the plastic from breaking down due to direct sunlight exposure Come on summer time, we are ready for you let the games begin.

So I ordered this to replace our ageing, older basketball hoop from the exact same company. I've included a comparison picture to show you the size difference. This is obviously the little brother to the larger hoop. The difference being, the backboard and rim is larger on the older set. That set has lasted us about five seasons of use so we've definitely got our money's worth out of it. We did have one problem with the older goal on the bracket that holds the rim against the backboard broke during heavy use. Go Sports was easy to contact and a replacement was sent to us at zero cost! For that reason alone, that made me want to order this hoop.This hoop is obviously smaller than the larger set, but I believe is actually made better. The rim is one-piece and there is no bracket with screws holding it in, rather the backboard slides down over top of the tangs on the hoop so there is nothing that will break. The entire assembly took all of 30 seconds no joke. The set includes one basketball (wish there was two) and they thought enough to include a needle for your bicycle pump! The base is to be filled with water so that it will not tip over during use and there is a plug at the rear of the base for this purpose.For the value received, I doubt you would find a nicer basketball set for your pool that is as easy to assemble and be playing within 1 minute of unboxing. That's impressive in and of itself!
