Ok. So our original attempt at this hoop didn't go so well. It arrived with a cracked backboard. Easily replaced on Amazon though. Once the new one came, it was easy to set up and has been great for 2 years. Until we had some minor cracking in the backyard again. Reached out directly to GoSports and they're sending a new backboard to replace this one. All in all, a good product/company.

Out of the box, I was surprised to find a ratcheted box end wrench for assembly. This made the process a one person asssembly. Instructions were simple and easy to follow.The base is sibstantial and holds enough water to prevent the goal from moving. The backboard is large and so far, very sturdy. The rim is powder coated and shows no sign of delamamination or rust reported by some other buyers.The unit comes with two full sized balls, (which will need to be inflated) a hand pump with a flexible hose and two needles.It is very sturdy and has a generous height adjustment.While it is sturdy, I would not recommend allowing energetic guests to hang off the goal after dunking. Injuries could occur and you may have to fish the goal out of your pool.We have used this goal everyday for a month with no failures, so no customer service issues/calls to report.We would recommend this unit highly.

I receieved this product, and immediatly put it up for my son and his friends to play with. They are 5-7 year olds, who stayed entertained for hours playing with, until my husband noticed discoloration to the bottom right corner of the backboard approx 1 month after install, and realized it had come loose from the white frame, and this continued to get worse, until now it is no longer attached on the entire right side. For the amount of money you pay for this item as compared to other cheaper products, I would recommend going with a cheaper alternative, because in this case you dont get what you pay for, and instead you get a cheaply made expensive basketball goal that will only last you half of a summer season, so why not fet the cheaper alternative that will last you the same amount of time. To the manufacturer, please make this right, either a refund or a new backboard replacement.

Great pool hoop---highly recommend. While this isn't a cheap product, it is a high quality product. Not only does it look great on the side of the pool, it can withstand the year-round use and the southern weather. It's easy to assemble too. We did have some issues early on---but the customer service has been outstanding---the company was highly responsive and accommodating---which unfortunately is rare with many sellers on Amazon. Don't hesitate to purchase this pool hoop if it meets your needs---you will remember the quality and quality look of product long after you forget how much you paid for it! :)

The backboard almost immediately started having issues with separation, we just duct taped it and moved on. Then the rim started to erode and stain the pool with rust (I even applied anti rust protection when installing, but didn't help much). I can excuse the rusted metal rim (and replace it potentially), but the backboard is just completely a manufacturing issue. Not worth the hefty price. I did try contacting support via their online form from the website, but never got a response. Will adjust review if I ever hear back.Update: Tried contacting P&P Imports support a second time and got a response. They asked for evidence of the issues which I've sent and they have now promised to send replacement backboard and rim. Rim was sent quickly, but backboard will be a few weeks. Will update this review again once all parts are receivedUpdate #2: All items received and the hoop is as good as new. Appreciate the company standing by their products. Will update again if the same faults occur with the replacement parts.

Sturdy and looks really great at the pool! Most important, these guys really back their product with good customer service. My backboard cracked after a little over 2 years. So I contacted them about a replacement and even though the warranty expired after 6 months they sent a replacement backboard, new rim, and even threw in 2 new basketballs to compensate for my troubles. When most sellers would want to charge for out of warranty replacement parts they covered everything, including shipping... no hassle whatsoever. I also have their volleyball set and that too is a good looking/sturdy product. Great people to do business with!!

We’ve had the hoop for only two years and the backboard has already shattered and feel apart. The hoop is completely rusted and falls into the pool regularly. Very disappointed for a hoop that is almost $400.

Love this pool basketball hoop - the pool just isn't as fun without! It gets a lot of use with several 13-15 year old boys who use it every time they get in the pool. It has held up quite well. Being in New England my husband disassembles it for the winter and puts it in the shed. One of the bolts/screws rusted to the point he had to cut it to get the hoop off. I contacted Amazon who gave me the customer service number - Greg called me back same day. Told me they have corrected the rust issue with double coating and will send me a replacement hoop and screws under warrantee!

Este verano en la piscina, ha sido un juguete muy demandado. La calidad en general está bien, plásticos de calidad y con buen espesor, sólidos que han aguantado que alguno se colgara..., El único pero es que se nos ha despegado parte del metacrilato que forma el marco transparente, supongo que por los golpes de la pelota. Tiene fácil solución echando silicona, pero esto ha pasado. Las bolas son de calidad y pese a estar bajo el sol todo el dÃa, no han perdido color ni se han deformado.
