The Gotoh 'Stop' Tailpiece is the familiar zinc die-cast bar tailpiece for solidbody guitars, with height-adjustable metric (M8 x 1.25) threaded mounting studs and knurled bushings.
Details:
- Mounting studs are spaced 3-1/4" (82.55mm) center-to-center.
- Position the studs 1-1/2" (38.10mm) behind the center of the bass side bridge mounting post.
- Use an 11mm drill bit to install the bushings.
- Strings can be installed from the front or rear.
- Chrome-plated.

Perfect Tailpiece, high quality, fits well on my Yamaha RSP20, no wobbly movement, better than the stock one that came with the guitar that affected tuning due to not staying in place. Improved sustain. Highly recommended

Frankly, I've never been disappointed with anything I've used from Gotoh. Worked perfectly on an Epiphone Les Paul.

I got this for my Electromatic Gretsch. The stock V tailpiece is kinda goofy and the break angle isn’t consistent because of it. So I got this Gotoh one and it works. I even top-wrapped the strings because I wasn’t able to do that with the stock tailpiece. This seems solid.

Awesome looking,only issue is that the riser screws are easily dinged during adjustment,a fairly common problem though.

Works as expected. The mounting post retaining part of the stop piece has more surface to attach to, so it’s sturdier than the stock tailpiece on the guitar I replaced it with. Good quality, and sounds great. It’s a little lighter than the old one I took off.
