Pilot holes requiredInstalling delicate screws such as these into hard maple requires great care and accuracy. We highly recommend using a No.50 bit for the pilot hole before installing these screws. Lubricate the screw threads with cutting lubricant (also wax or a bar of soap) to reduce friction and help them thread properly.

I shopped around and checked endless reviews for direct replacement tuning keys for both my Conklin GT-7B and my Pedulla Hexabuzz. Both instruments came with factory-installed tuners that were old-model Gotoh, but the Conklin’s tuners’ posts kept snapping to reveal the posts were aluminum and very fragile. The Conklin tuners held up mechanically, but started to show pitting in the finish after 3 years.I purchased these tuners for both basses and they were super easy to install, look great, and are mechanically substantially more solid than the tuners that came with both instruments. Very, very happy with the quality improvements Gotoh has made over the years. 100% would buy again.

They fit my Washburn perfectly and were very easy to install. The black looks really nice, and they're sturdy. Definitely a step up from what I had on there.

Wow! This fit perfectly for my Ibanez. The first thing I noticed about this was the great weight and quality to these tuners. I am glad I finally made the choice to change out the stock tuners for these, Gotoh is yet another fine example of Japanese quality craftmanship. I will be upgrading my bass with additional Gotoh parts in the very near future.

I purchased this set of Gotoh tuners to replace the original tuners on my 2004 Warwick Corvette $$. They are a direct replacement with no needed alterations to the instrument. They dropped in, installed, and ready to go in about 15 minutes. The craftsmanship on this item is superb, and they hold the tune marvelously. If you are in the market for a set of tuners, you need to try Gotoh.

These are replacements for the cheap tuners that come with NS Stand Up Electric Bass. Gotoh is like a fine swiss watch compared to the sophomoric originals that break on a regular basis - and always just before concert. I can dial in perfect open string notes that hold. Thank you for supplying quality products.
