These are amazing! Best LED outdoor lights set I've ever bought. I've had a few LED rope sets running along the railing on the deck out back, and they looked "ok" for what they were but these..are great. The colors are bright, colorful and consistent. They are a solid enclosed rope without the diode showing and is seamless in light travel. The rope is able to bend and make tight turns without harming them. It comes with clips for wall mount and ground stakes.I had 2 small issues, i was trying to get the 1" clips(30 in the pack) to adhere to the vertical side of a powder coated aluminum railing on the deck. The clips come with 3m tape already on the back. and a hole for screw mounting, im not drilling into my nice aluminum railings.I followed the instructions to the letter, cleaned the railing with the supplied alcohol wipes,.and still the clips would fall off the side of.the railing. And the connector at the power cable was a little wonky.I called customer service and they were AMAZING. they sent me a brand new set! This time I stuck the clips to the railing(cleaning it again) and I waited 72 hours for the clips to get a good bond on the railing. Then I put the lights in the clips, I had 4 90° turns and 1 tight U turn and this time the clips stayed, non let go, none twisted or fell off. 3 weeks now and still no clips became unstuck.Those people who say the clips don't hold, they are not reading the instructions and just sticking them to the wall WITHOUT doing any prep before.These outdoor LED rope lights I HIGHLY recommend. PLEASE follow the instructions for using the 3m backed clips I'm a vertical surface and do the prep first. I did but they were just not liking my aluminum railings at first. Stick em, first, then wait 72 hours before hanging the rope. Let the clips get a good grip on the surface.THEN run the lights.I'm going to but more sets, shorter ones for different areas. Best LED outdoor rope lights on the market!

Overall it is a solid product. Perhaps they are charging a bit of a premium for it as the technology is not groundbreaking(I brought l on sale). However outside of price the app and product has alot of appeal.You can choose from a variety of patterns/themes and create your own. You can Literally change each segment of the rope and get lost in the variety of options. It has a seemless integration with Alexa voice commands etc. Timers, schedules, and group control features.They provide clips for wall mounting and for ground routing. I did installed my (32ft) on the ceiling of the patio. The provide drywall anchors were not the best so I used a few better ones I had. Also the rope has some weight to it, the ceiling install required one person holding the weight while being installed. What I then had to do was use clear/white zip ties in a few places to secure the rope to is clips. It came out clean pretty clean and the 3 or 4 zips I used are not noticeable.The clips they include have a small lip that fits into a groove along the rope. It is perhaps 2mm in size which is the problem for the ceiling install. They are not deep enough to hold up without some ingenuity.For brightness I gave 4 stars with the caveat that it's intended perhaps is not for how I am using it. Is it bright and eye catching Yeats. The colors are vivid. Will the all white light at full bright be seen from space no. My goal was to have the ability to light my patio if needed to provide a softer light then my main overhead lights. (It does this well). The best example I'd say is to think of a cell phone (flashlight) it gives you light. from say 10 feet away you can see but the shadows are there . I'll posted a night picture laterAgain overall it is a solid product and I've added a few other govee products to the house this week that have worked just as well.

My house is filled with indoor Govee lightning and decided it was time to take it outside. I opted for the rope lighting rather than the permanent outdoor lights because instead of going around the roof line I needed to install them just above some white trim that goes around the length of our home midway up the exterior. It was super easy to put up with screws and provided brackets with the only caveat being that while the rope is flexible it only bends about 45-50 degrees so makes going around 90 degree corners really tricky.I’ve had nothing but great customer service with Govee and this was time was no exception. When the lights arrived in October I tested to be sure they were working and while they did at that time when we went to install them a month later there was an issue with a small portion of the rope not lighting up. I don’t know if we somehow twisted the rope at some point or what happened but when I spoke with customer support, they had me go through a few troubleshooting suggestions and when that didn’t fix the issue within 5 days they’d sent me a replacement with no need to return the non-working lights. while Govee lights are on the more spendy side I’ve never regretted my purchase because of a quality product and excellent customer service.

Love these lights. They are easy to install. They have great brightness. They have a timer from the app as well as pre set color patters. You have the ability to customize your own color pattern. I strongly recommend these lights.

I bought this light couples days ago, I set it up, so I realize was better than I expect it, that's why I bought another one , so now I put them together at the same place, they loom amazing, I really recommend to buy it...there are at the next level....

La manguera viene con muchos accesorios para instalarla. Es relativamente fácil instalarla, aunque queda medio rara en las esquinas, porque aunque es muy flexible no se puede poner a 90 grados, entonces queda en forma de bucle. En cuanto a conectividad solo tuve un problema de que no respetaba el encendido y apagado automático, pero se resolvió configurándola desde 0, y no volvió a fallar. La app está muy completa, aunque varias escenas están medio raras, de navidad no hubo una que me convenciera. Llovió varias veces y no tuvo ningún problema, aunque hay que considerar que el eliminador no se debe de mojar, por lo que tuve que conseguir una caja para protegerla y que permitiera entrada de aire porque se calienta.
