Product Description

  • It's too narrow around the roll bar under the Sky One Touch Top to install the GP Grip PRO/ AIR as mentioned on the product page, but you can still get the GP Back Grip and other accessories.

  • Yes. You can run the straps through the part without taking it off and install the GP-Grip. ( * fold the arrow end inside to fit the back window roll bar for rear passengers on JL/ JT)

  • If space is limited, like on the shorter JL/JT rear window bar or with Spider Sunshade straps, the GP-Grip bandana end is foldable. Fold it inside to make it 6", then wrap your sunshade straps after mounting the GP-Grip.

  • Yes. The GP-Grip PRO and Survivor model comes with a linear utility pouch that is reversible to a MOLLE strap system, now you can mount GPCA Utility Case any 3rd party tools storage on top on it. *Not compatiple with GP Grip Air.

Will the GP-Grip fit roll bars on both driver, passenger, and rear sides?

Yes! The design is universal, fits both driver and passenger sides and even the rear sport bar above the cargo space, but the utility pouch installations are slightly different.

Please always mount the arrow-end towards the back and the utility pouch inside. Note that on the passenger side, the utility pouch opening points to the front like the top one in this image and the video:

For the rear passengers, you can also mount them after the top speakers. For the JK soft top, you can mount the GP-Grip behind the knob. with the flip-away feature, you will never bump your head when getting in and out and they are closer to your shoulder behind the speakers, more convenient. Get 4 or more as a set! They also fit for the cargo roll bar size as well. ( * fold the arrow end inside to fit the back window roll bar for rear passengers on JL/ JT).

As for the orientation for the utility pouch on the rear right passenger side, since it's open-sided on both ends, you can still maintain the GPCA orientation, point the Velcro opening to the front, and insert the window breaker pen from the rear side openings. From our test, if you slide in and clip the pen on the bottom side, it's still easy to access and slide it out while moving the rear-end loop up a bit.

You can also mount the GP-Grip to the rear sport bar above the cargo, as an option, you can fold the arrow end to the main wrap to make it look symmetrical and cool. This folding option could be for Spiderweb shade owners if there are straps in the way of mounting the GP Grip.

Top 3 pros:1) Very sturdy: they held all of my 250 pounds with ease. They feel as solid as my bolt-on handles.2) Folding: these fold-up and get out of the way. I never hit them with my head. Game changer.3) Rearward mounting: can mount these closer to the A-pillar than any other grab handle design, allowing a wider grip, which improves egress.4) Comfortable hand rest; just feels comfortable for cruising on- or off-road ... kinda like well worn-in jeans.Now the constructive criticism.1) Pouch too small: the pouch included with the "GP Grip PRO" is not very useful for me. It wil fit a slim flashlight or a pen, but that's about it. Mine remain empty, so I'd recommend the "GP Grip LITE" at roughly half the price instead of these.

This product is way overpriced for what you are gonna get. You need to install it in the wrong direction so that it would line up properly! Ridiculous. I bought the similar item from China directly and it has way better quality and more effort into the product.Like others, it was shipped with a chip in one of the red handles.
