This is a definite upgrade to the original changing mattress I had. The contoured design and the strap keep baby safe during changes. Just make sure to always have one hand on baby regardless! Waterproof and seemingly built to last. It fits perfect in my standard size table and seems super cozy!

My Wife and I never actually used a changing pad for our own Little Girl when she was still just a tad. Not really because we didn't think they were needed. But because we were always changing her in the most random of places. Be it in our home, at the in-law's home, and once or twice on the back seat of the SUV when traveling and we can't immediately find a place that has a changing station in the bathroom.But since our baby nephew comes over with family, if he's changed while they're at our home, then he's always getting changed in about he same place. We have a spare crib that has a changing area built in, above a set of drawers that we keep diapers and other necessities in. Yet the changing area itself isn't terribly comfortable. But this changing pad is, and if fits just fine on the changing area of the crib. It's one of those things that you didn't really know you needed, but once you own it, you wonder how you got by without it all this time. Because for us, what matters is that we keep our Little Ones cozy and comfy. That's what you'll get from this changing pad. And don't forget that it's a Graco product. That's a brand name that EVERY parent knows. It's a name that most parents have trusted for many years (especially for safe car seats). So when you order this, you'll know that it was made to a higher standard of quality than the cheapo changing pads you may find online. And also that it wasn't made with any sort of weird materials. Which means your LO is safe when they come in contact with it.

I have a love/hate relationship with this changing pad. The fabric makes it hard to clean if there’s an accident. It’s not easy to wipe off and to clean it, you have to just throw the fabrics into the washing machine (making it unusable for the time it’s in the washer). As a mother to a baby boy, the pee can get everywhere when they decide to pee while you’re mid-changing them. It does not look like the pictures where there are water droplets on the “waterproof†part. So, I actually use this as a mini bed, like a dock-a-tot, instead of a changing pad, and that has been great.

I plan to get adhesive velcro to stick to the dresser and the pad to prevent slipping!Thank you Graco, would recommend 5/5!
