I live in South West FL and previously bought a “teak†chest very similar to this one from a competitor, who I will not specifically name but for those of you that like riddles, that company’s name is the opposite of Backgate. That chest was delivered in November and when the rainy season here started in May it literally started to crack apart. I called and they said it was under warranty and they sent a replacement which was delivered in June and literally lasted 15 days before the moisture from rain and humidity caused it to crack apart an literally disintegrate. Real Teak does not do that. Real Teak will not rot. I told that company to come take that piece of garbage away and found this beautiful chest from TeakStation. The price of this chest is identical to what I paid for the other chest which was awful. THIS is the real deal with REAL teak. It smells like teak and acts like teak. It holds up beautifully against rain and humidity. It was delivered in perfect condition and was very easy to assemble. It looks so awesome on my pool deck and holds all of my cushions, water toys and floats for the pool. The top looks just like the teak deck on a yacht. I love this chest and highly recommend it. It is worth every penny and the appearance is so nice.

Met our expectations and was relatively easy to put together. The owner of the company called immediately when we had a question, and was more than willing to help out. We had priced similar teak storage items and the price was 3-4 times more, so I feel we received a great deal and it's beautiful and much larger than we envisioned. It will store cushions, or plenty of pool toys. We're very happy so far!
