  • metal;
  • steel;
  • aluminum;
  • soft metals;
  • stainless steel.

HACKSAW BLADE INSTALLATION

The installation method is determined by the design of the fastening system on the hacksaw itself.

  1. With a threaded clamp, the hacksaw blade is inserted into the corresponding ledge, tighten slightly, and then secured with a wing nut.
  2. To install the saw blade on a hacksaw using a lever mechanism, simply pull out the lever that is opposite the handle, place the saw blade, and return the lever to its original position.
  3. When properly tightened, the hacksaw blade should ring lightly and vibrate slightly. During operation, the saw blade should not change the direction of movement under load.

Have to work with a hacksaw blade in a reciprocating motion with simultaneous pressure.

Crazy sharp out the box and I do think it's real cobalt because I had one of the teeth snap off because it's so hard the previous HSS blade I had didn't do that and I bent the shizz out of that blade but this one will snap teeth off so cut straight and cut right or this blade will snap on you even though I've only had the teeth break on me.

These blades do work well on hardened steel and stainless steel. Worth the money if you work with these materials.
