I planted a garden for the first time this year, and this tool has been very handy. Also used it for clearing up the ground around my fairly new trees. Definitely helped with getting those weeds with either very fibrous roots or the ones with the super thick taproot. Very satisfying!

I have had many of these through the years, and my last one broke - it was 15 years old and I left it in the garden over the winter. I couldn't find one for 5 years! I now have 2. It is wonderful!

Honestly, given as a gift. My dad said he doesn’t know how to use it, so I said it gives him a good excuse to go outside and try to figure his new tool out when he needs to get out from under mom’s thumb! ;)

Trying to keep up with the weeds in my yard, and when I see an item that may help with removing them it catches my attention. Well I ordered the Grandpa’s Garden Hook and it arrived in a day. As it warms up in my southwestern climate, if I have done a somewhat good job, the weeds start to die off because of the heat and very dry conditions. My yard is a zero scape yard but I do get weeds in the rocks that I need to be persistent with and as my yard dries out the clay underneath the rocks becomes very hard. I found this tool does get to the weeds in the hard clay underneath the rocks. I may look at getting a longer handled weeder for the obvious reasons but you still need to bend down to pick up the weeds. How’s that for a long winded review. The tool made it to my home in one day and the tool is of very good quality.
