I didn't realize when ordering that this is not adhesive backed. Not a fault of the seller at all, it actually says cloth backed if you read it. Not a problem at all. I just used some spray adhesive. The super 77 stuff worked well and it stuck just like a psa disk. Hopefully I can get it off when the time comes.It is extremely slick on the back of the belt. It's a noticeable difference in load on my budget brand 4x36 combo grinder. I can definitely push the work piece into it harder and less strain on the motor. So far I'm pleased. Time will tell how it holds up. There's enough that I'll be able to make 2 backers out of 1 roll which is cool.

Needed new platen for my bosch 1276 4x24 belt sander, old one was worn and cracked.Price was good. Cut to length, made three small screw holes and replaced my worn beltsander platen with this miracle. Very low heat and so far has survived 12-15 hours of sanding, and ive got enough left on the roll to make 4 more.Much cheaper and better option - runs cooler - than $65 for a new steel platen from bosch.

This was used on a Craftsman 4" belt sander. The "skid" plate is no longer available. This worked perfect.
