These planters were for mounting in my chameleon enclosures. The size is perfect for my needs. I wanted something long enough to go across the back, but low profile enough where it wouldn’t take up too much room. They are very sturdy too!

I ordered the GREANER Window Boxes Planters, 3PCS 16x3.8 Inch Black Rectangle Planters Box with Drainage Holes and Trays. I wanted some greenery to partially cover the cord for the tv and brighten the area up. I filled the three planters with black aquarium gravel then cut apart my greens to stick into the gravel. They are sleek and sturdy so I'm sure real plants would look good and thrive in them. Compared to larger size "tray" planters these were a great price. I did put stick on "feet" to raise the planters to allow for cords. I love these planters and I'm all ready thinking of new projects I can use them for.

They are cute planters and fit perfectly where I wanted them. The only problem is that there is no way for water to evaporate from the drainage tray, since they fit snuggly on the bottom of the planter.
