I purchased this to use on some thin trim that I was putting around my door. The concept of the device is really cool and it would've worked perfectly if the saw was sharp but it was extremely hard to get the wood to cut the whole way through so for that reason I had to return it.

The saw and miter box worked well for cutting the quarter round for my house. It handled the ~300ft of 11/16†quarter round fairly well. The saw is not the sharpest, but with rapid back and forth movement, it cuts soft pine adequately. Beware that this is probably not the saw you want to use for cutting something such as a 2x4. The box is sturdy enough. I fixed it with screws to another board and then clamped the assembly to a sawhorse to make a sturdy work station. For the price, it gets 5 stars from me for quarter round.

This is a hobby product for sure. I bought this for a single project of 12 2'x4'x4" wood frames to be covered in fabric. There are two set screw holes on the base of the box. I secure the box on my wood bench and use a C clamp to secure the wood while cutting. I had no problems with the saw but with the nature of manual miter box work some people may have trouble.The plastic alignment groove does get ground out some during use, but my project came out fine. Just let the saw do the work and try not to rush.If I was building something more professional I would rent a miter saw.

There is nothing I dislike about this mitre box! I do small wood working crafts and this tool is a must have for me to finally get those sharp, accurate angled cuts. I like that it's so lightweight and easy to use and wish I had purchased this way before now instead of struggling with a jig saw or hand saw alone to make the cuts I needed.

Buen producto cumple con las descripciones del fabricante, es de buena calidad; los trabajos realizados generan un corte exacto y correcto; si es recomendable algo de experiencia en el uso de un serrucho para no estropear la herramienta, como recomendación serÃa bueno agregar un juego de sujetadores para maximizar la herramienta y todo su potencial

J'ai utilisé ce produit pour faire des angles parfaits. Le seul petit bémol que je peux apporter, ceci concerne, la lame elle devrait avoir une protection. Ce commentaire est plutôt constructif.merci

Funciona muy bien, es lo que muestran en sus fotos, por eso lo compre, por que vi otros modelos pero creo que son muy pequeños, este se adapto muy bien para el trabajo que requeria.
