I submerged 1 cube in water for about 20 minutes (fyi: it comes w/2 cubes) & rinsed with clean cold water several times. Then, spread it under sunlight to dry. That tiny cube filled 2 gallon container! I will never buy any other product again! Just beautiful on my Orchids & other plants.

Each package of wemoss has two squares. I used one square and followed the instructions and it produced enough moss to fill these two trays for my dining room table. I love the flexibility of having three more squares for future use. Mossy scent goes away once the moss dries after hydrating.

You might like this color, but it's not for me. It's like an emerald green, on the cool side. I tend to like a more woodsy natural color. This is dyed with a natural substance.

Lovely product! If you love plants remember that harvesting (stealing) this moss and other mosses like it, is destroying old growth forests. Old growth forests can't live without it. New growth forests don't have moss as it takes decades, sometimes hundreds of years to grow. Find a sustainable substitute. It starts with you.

This little bag doesn't look very impressive, but wow, does it puff up.It comes sealed in plastic that's vacuum-sealed, and all you do is soak a chunk of it in water, and boom, moss for days.It looks like moss but is a little bright green, which I feel will tone down, especially if it gets any sun. It feels like moss, and it has a mossy smell, which eventually goes away. It looks like good quality without a bunch of sticks and leaves.I got the 7oz bag that's $13.99, which doesn't look like much at first, but it's definitely worth the price.

A green mess. I've tried several brands of moss for projects and this is the only one I would not use again. Very smelly, messy and leaks color like crazy.

I read the directions and used a little spray bottle to mist the moss and it loosened up quite easily. There is a slight organic smell, but it dissipates quickly. I haven't used a lot of the moss, but there is plenty for future use. I am keeping it in a sealed plastic bag with the spray bottle. It makes my faux flower arrangements look more realistic.

I must admit that when I first opened this package I was disappointed and skeptical. I just didn't look like much. (See photo 1 on the left). But then I put one of the 2 cubes in a gallon zip lock bag and added water...wow, this stuff came to life and expanded enough to fill the whole gallon bag. (I'm glad I didn't add both cubes!) I would say that there's enough here to cover the top of an 18-inch diameter planter - maybe larger. Besides the ample volume, this decorative moss looks very lifelike with its realistic greens and browns and the fact that it's made from real forest moss is great because I wouldn't want something like a plastic mixing in with the top layer of soil. I'll be using this as a decorative mulch for my future (coming soon) avocado tree which I'll need to bring inside my home each winter and this moss should help retain soil moisture AND look great at the same time. Nice!
