I do not use this as a driveway or door bell alarm but as an Alarm for my Truck yes Truck,I mounted the transmitter inside the truck on the Driver door,the Receiver is mounted inside my bedroom,when armed open the truck door and the alarm goes off in my bedroom,but you can hear it all through the house,there is also a receiver mounted in the gurage where the would be thief will also hear it,I also have a transmitter mounted inside my RV,this transmitter is paired to the same receivers,open the door of my RV and the alarms go off,The receivers have different color lights,so if the alarm goes off and the receiver flashes Red then I know it is the Truck,if it flashes Green it's the RV.This alarm system has many applications you can use it for,just use your imagination,they work great.

I have a rather large shop and I have the sensor by the front door and the receivers in the back so I can tell when someone comes in and I can hear them clearly.

Very easy to install - works as stated. I only wish that there are more than 2 volumes - the lower is too low and the loud is really loud. We use it in our office, so we've moved it way down the hall, and have it on loud which seems to work well.We have enjoyed changing all of the languages to make it more interesting and fun.

Our patio leads out to a busy walkway and there is no gate to block people out. We got this as an alarm system to deter potential intruders and to alert us. The sensor was easy to mount to a sliding door frame (comes with double sided tape). Its been up for 5 months and hasn't fallen off (covered patio, not exposed to weather). Any heat signature will set it off so it detects cats, squirrels and people. I wish it had a screw feature for adjusting the angle more accurately to my space instead of the preset notches. The receiver has tons of tunes to choose from and can be heard from the outside when it is set off. The lowest volume setting has woken us up from another room. I love that it also has a light that blinks with adjustable settings. If you power it using batteries, its super easy to move between rooms (bedroom at night, common areas during the day). It comes a stand or it can be wall mounted. Sometimes our friends enter using our patio instead of the front door and its nice to adjust the tune to the "hello welcome" option. This thing is an incredible value compared to what we almost spent by if we had gotten a motion sensor and camera system that charge subscription fees.

My dog barks at everything except when she wants to come in and instead she jumps on the door. I set this alarm up by my back door so when she comes to the door the receiver "Ding Dongs" to let me know shes there. No more jumping, no waiting, and shes let in right away.The only thing is dont set it up near your clothes dryer vent. The steam kept making the alarm go off LOL. I had to move it to the other side of the door.

The Pros: Very sensitive. Lotsof different types of alerts to choose from. Welcome in several languages. Can choose sound or visual and one option for both. Cons: For MY application, I wish I could have a softer volume choice, Again, for MY application, I don't like the bright blue LED on the sensor. My son sneaks up on me a lot and sometimes I am so buried in my work on the computer, which is in my room, and he is like a ninja. Just, "Hey dad." scares the bejesus out of me, so I got this to alert me when hje is coming. I didn't want him to know and that's why I don't want the blue LED light and also, on the sensor, sometimes the light alert isn't enough, but the volume on the sound is too loud even on the lowest volume. My application might be unique so just keep that in mind. This is a very good option. I was hoping to find something that would alert me straight to my phone using Bluetooth rather than these that go through the network because those have a slight delay. Otherwise, the unit is great.
