My original saw lasted several years and finally stopped working. It sounded like a gear was stripped and it would no longer drive the chain. I ordered a replacement on July 6th. I didn't use it for 1 minute on small branches and it stopped working. It sounded like the new pole saw attachment was stripped. I sent it back and got a replacement 3 days later. Again with the first use the second replacement stopped working and it sounded like the drive gear again was stripped. Instead of getting a third replacement I just asked for a return of my money. I would not recommend purchasing this saw.

I have had my Greenworks pole saw for ten years now and use it heavily every year. It finally gave up the ghost this year, but I admit, I was taking down a pretty good size tree. Kudos to gGreenworks as this is my 7th greenworks tool and they just keep going!Highly recommended

We use it to do trimming of tree branches and it works great.

I use it for trimming around the house and out in the woods by tree stands. Very durable and you can add a extention to reach higher limbs. Great for the deer hunters. It can be a little heavy if you are doing a lot of over head work with extention on.

This was a replacement head for a previous unit that started stripping the gears. The previous unit was used heavily, almost every day for several years. Cuts much faster than any other battery operated pole saw that I have used.
