4" BRAKE DRUM
- The brake drum has universal mounting hole pattern with both 5/16" & 3/8" bolt holes.
- Those 8 bolt holes will hopefully match those on you wheel brake hub.
4" BRAKE BNAD
- There is a hole on either end of the brake band.
- One end fastens to a stud mounted on the cart, but is still able to pivot, and the other end fastens to your brake rod.
65" REAR BRAKE CABLE
- The 65" brake cable consists of high quality black vinyl coil wound housing and inner nylon sleeve for longer life.
- It is very simple to install and smooth operation.
SPROCKET BRAKE HUB 1" BORE 1/4" KEYWAY
- The sprocket brake bub is made of high quality 45# steel material.
- Nicely balanced, stronger and more durable to use.

This is a fine brake set. It would do well for something small like an antique style or street kart, but do not buy this intending to use it on a heavy offroader. I have this on one I built, which probably weighs around 300 pounds, and this brake almost doesn't even try to stop it. I love the brake, it's nice heavy material, easy to install, and all makes sense. I just wouldn't use it on anything with much weight.

I used this kit on my modified riding lawn mower/tractor. This kit is a very huge upgrade for the tractor. I haven't had any issue with the quality as of yet.

This brake works but the key slot is not cut accurately. The one I received is cut more like a triangle. I had to grind down my key to get it to fit in.
