I like everything about this guitar case it is well worth the money. Sturdy very nice looking and well padded. You will not do any better for the price. But if you are playing commercially and you are on the road a lot and different people handle your instrument. I believe I would spend little more money for a more sturdy case, or be prepared to replace it as needed. But if you’re playing at home and maybe a gig here and there and practice this case will outlive you if it is taken care of it will protect your instrument Well, it’s a lot of case for the money good investment.

Apparently these are made by Fender but engineered by Gretsch. That's the sad part is Gretch engineered it and they forgot to put a latch on the bottom part of the lid so now that warps and opens up and leaves a big gap between the lid and the guitar so anything can crawl in get in he's just suck and they're high dollar so unless you want to re-engineer it and fix it yourself like I had to look somewhere else I don't know why they haven't pulled this off the market it is complete crap.

This is made in China for Fender and has Gretsch written on the case the cardboard had that information on it.All of that aside sturdy case soft lining inside small compartment with door for picks son loves it.
