Huge, heavy, and absorbs crazy amounts of water. Single swipe passes and the vehicle is dry. No streaks, and very little lint left behind (if any at all). You could probably dry two cars / small SUVs with this single towel before letting it dry. Seriously. It's not exactly the softest microfiber material, but I don't think that's what you'd want in a drying towel anyways.At nearly $40, yes, it is pretty expensive for what it is. But, if you're reading this review, you're probably already interested and I'll just go ahead and say it's worth it. I have not tried all the other drying towels on the market, just saw this one and went with it, but I don't have any regrets.It's been through the washer & dryer 6-7 times so far (delicate setting on both machines) and I don't see any signs of fraying edges or loose stitching -- it's holding up nicely.If you're serious about auto detailing and are looking for a really excellent drying towel, give this a try. A little expensive, but worth the time savings and convenience it brings. Especially if your car has a wax or sealant protecting the paint, this towel makes drying your car extremely simple and fast.

Until I bought this product, I've only ever used chamois leathers and more recently small micro fiber towels to dry my cars. I didn't even know that these large super absorbent towels existed - until I saw this one in a car detailing Youtube video. The price may put you off, especially when you can buy 16 small micro fiber towels for around 20 bucks, but don't let it. This towel is awesome! Just slide it over a wet panel and watch everything get soaked up. No streaking, just nice dry paintwork with very little effort. It will make your car drying process so much easier.The only negative with a towel this size is that it's easy to let it touch the ground when you are drying the side of the car if you are not concentrating, and if that happens you need to stop and wash the towel thoroughly before using it again. For this reason, it's probably best to buy two of them. Great product, and I am now a convert from small micro fiber towels, this thing is awesome!

I found a recommendation for this product from a YouTube detailing video. At almost $40 for a "towel" I was really on the fence as to me, that is kind of expensive. I just purchased a new car which helped and I have been trying to give the best care I can for as long as I can. I took the plunge and purchased it and I don't regret it for one second. I am so impressed with it that I will be investing in a 2nd towel, just to have an extra one around. I was able to dry my entire car without even wringing out the towel. In most cases you can simply just glide the towel along the surface of the car and this towel will pick up every last drop to a near streak-free finish. I'm guessing some of that might have to do with the condition of the paint on the car but I was very impressed. Drying the car is probably my least favorite tasks but I find it much easier with this towel. Over the years I have tried a bunch of different products, spending well over $40. Many of these products probably ended up damaging the paint to a certain degree. Yes, this is kind of expensive but totally worth it because it works and it works really well...!

I was in disbelief that passing this towel over my car one time would absorb the amount of water that was on my hood. To my pleasant surprise, it's amazing. Dry your car off extremely quickly. This towel is incredible and I'm going to buy more.

Im new to care detailing and like others who started, probably bought so many products to see which is best. This towel here is all you need. Ive gone through many other microfiber towels thats they have now become secondary rags. I literally watched the video and saw how they just glide the towel across the hood of the car and it soaks all the water leaving nothing behind. I was thinking, yeah right!!! Well sure enough when it came, I did exactly that and the results were the same. No more dry scrubbing which can cause small scratches. Just lay it on your car and slide it across and it soaks up everything. Best thing is this towel can do my whole car (2024 Elantra N) without needing to ring it or dry it out!

I have a full size Lexus SUV. I already have Griots extra large 55596 PFM towel which is spectacular, but I need a second one. Needless to say, this towel is just as good a there 55596 PFM towel, slightly smaller, but still just an amazing drying towel. I tried other brands out there and although some of them were decent, I had to return them because nothing comes close to Griots. All I can say if you need a high quality super absorbent drying towel for whatever vehicle you might have, trust me, look no further than Griots, you won’t be disappointed.

It really does soak up an amazing amount of water, but one vehicle one towel isn't really true. Because it is so super saturated with water, if you want to do your dash or the inside of your windows it's too wet and heavy. And after doing your horizontals it can sometimes be too wet for your verticals. It also takes a day or two outside to dry. Yes this is nitpicking because it dries so damn well.

I normally use Bead Maker as a drying aid. This towel did great on its 1st try. I found it wiped everything off the first time vers having to do a 2nd wipe with a 2nd towel. It feels nice and soft but not overwhelmingly soft compared to Chemical Guys Wolly Mammoth. I fould the size not too big as long as you have it folded corectly or a 2nd hand on it especially when doing the lower part of the car. I've used alot of towels from Adams to The Rag Company. So far, pretty impressed. I would buy more for what I am doing.

Excelente producto, seca a la primera (no “arrastra†el agua) y su suavidad y textura garantiza cero rayones en la pintura. Lo he probado en un coche negro y a la fecha no he tenido problemas. HabÃa comprado previamente una toalla de chemical guys y sin duda esta es superior.Una sola toalla es suficiente para un coche completo, se recomienda comprar otra si se desea lavar otro coche de inmediato, ya que tarda bastante en secarse.

I own about six other drying towels, including a Mother’s Waffle towel, CG Wooly Mammoth, and several others whose name escapes me. These other ones worked well—but this one from Griots is exceptional. True to form, it picks up water as I drag it from hood to trunk with no drips or streaks left behind. I did my entire M3 in about two to three passes (top, sides, front and rear) and the towel was not yet fully saturated. So for that reason this deserves top props in my book. BTW, I also have an electric blower, but a towel to be honest is quicker. Sure I may not get all the nooks and crannies, but it’s a pain to drag out the blower and extension cord for me. Recommended.

My hubby loves these so much that he got two more to share with his dad and brother. They work great, not a single streak left behind and super absorbent.
