Exactly as described. Perfect under my jointer. Moves easily but stays where you put it.

I would have thought a product from Grizzly would have been of higher quality, especially for the price of this unit. Actually the price of the unit itself is fine, it’s the shipping that’s kind of extraordinary. The Bear Crawl appears solid and sturdy at first glance, but the packaging is generic, allowing for dings and dents during delivery. Assembly was easy, but many of the screw holes were not tapped properly. The screws themselves appeared died correctly, but some of them only thread into the holes a few threats, then they need to be tightened with a driver/wrench. With some of them tapping properly, and other not, it begs questions about quality control from the manufacturer. Further, once the support bars are installed and screws are tightened down, a bunch of adjustment must be made so that the unit doesn’t wobble. The caster wheels are cheaply made, and the plastic on the wheels had overspray from the paint/powder coating. The welds in the corner brackets are take up at least a quarter inch in each side...looks like a beginner welder made them. Here’s the worst part: one of the foot pedals to raise and lower the stationary feet “slips†or feels really loose. The pedal raises and lowers almost too easily. Waiting for the day that 510 pounds of table saw comes crashing down on my foot. I gave this a 2 star review because it is usable, and the assembly was very easy. If I lose a toe, I’ll probably lower it to a 1 star.

I purchased a 15" Grizzly planer and wanted to make sure I could move it with ease. This base is perfect. Easy to assemble. Rolls great and the price is very fair.

I’ve tried a few other brands but this one is by far the best one. Very heavy duty and easy to flip up the brakes to move.

For my table saw. Check all of your hardware I had one of the coaster bolts that was not thread.

This is seems to be a consistant problem as others have reported the same issue. One of foot stops won’t hold to keep the base immobilized. Using a table saw that moves is just asking to lose a finger.

Bought this directly from Grizzly in Springfield MO. Foot pedals will not lock. Either of them. I’m taking it apart as we speak and taking it back Monday. Complete junk for $100.
