The tool is 11.5in in length and is designed to work with 28, 45 or 60mm rotary cutters. Detailed 16 page booklet teaches quilters to make and apply perfect pipping. The Groovin' Piping Trimming Tool is used to trim piping seam allowances to consistent width. When piping is sewn, it is impossible to maintain a consistent seam allowance. Trimming seam allowances using a traditional acrylic ruler is a time consuming chore but the Grovin' Piping Trimming Tool makes this task quick and accurate. (Rotary cutting equipment is needed to use this tool.)

For a first time piping experience, this was quite good. Also, learned after getting the book that there is a "piping foot" for my machine that works like the ruler included in this kit. Very nice. 1/4" cut is perfect!

This is a good tool and instruction but is the exact same as offered by Pieces Be With You. I ordered both thinking one was for larger piping but that is not the case. I am happy to have it but did not need two identical.
