So, this is basically black silicone that's thinned out to the consistency of paint. I was skeptical, but I gave it a shot and it works great. You have to mask the tile off -- it's far more work to scrape this stuff off the tile than it is to just put down painter's tape. The first trick is to mask off all of the horizontal lines first, paint them, and then come back the next day to do all the vertical lines. Otherwise you'll be spending a lot of time with tape and razor blade. The second trip is to work fast. Do two lines at a time for a small half bath, or one if it's a bit larger, then immediately take off the tape. This stuff sets fast, and if you wait too long it will start to set. Then pulling off the tape will pull up some silicone with it. If you wait until everything is dry you're gonna have a bad time too, because this stuff grips like crazy and the tape will tear the silicone and you'll end up with a ragged lifted edge instead of a smooth clean line.Give it about a week before you use any water or cleaning agents on it, move furniture, or walk on it in shoes. After a week the stuff is not coming off unless you attack it with a grout saw. Id did what the package said it would do, and it worked great for changing my stained, ancient white grout into black grout. I don't know how long it will last, but seeing how tough the stuff is (when applied to CLEAN grout) I expect it will last a long time. I'll update this review in 6 months or a year and report on how it's holding up.Note that one tube is enough to do a single coat of 1/4" wide grout floor of the small half bath in the picture. You will need two coats. Fortunately this comes with two tubes of the stuff. But if you have a bigger room plan to buy several of these. Also, don't be heavy-handed. If you cut the nozzle too big you'll waste a lot - it'll just end up on the tape - so start smaller and cut it larger only if you need to.

This is not grout. It's cement. I squeezed and squeezed from both bottles and no grout would come through tube. It's as hard as a rock and unusable. I just wasted my money

Some of my dark tiles in my bathroom moved after being placed and attached to the floor. There were a few visible seams between the tiles that I needed a dark filler (grout) to hide the seams. This black grout filler did a nice job filler the openings to make the bathroom more pleasing. You get two tubes of grout and it is easy to use. The grout comes out nicely (just don't press to hard or itll be too much). The yellow ball stick they provide distributes the grout well and it dries fast. I put a fan over it to help it dry. Once it dries, you can easily clean any access grout. This was a great purchase for dark tiles to keep the flow! I recommend. I plan to use this grout in the future when I need more for my tile and other DIYs!

It is not easy to put on place, you need mask tape if not would result a mess, double work putting mask tape

This worked out very well. I have a black ceramic floor in my motorhome and several tiles were loose. I drilled through the grout and used fixit-floor then covered the holes and grout lines with this product which was very easy to use and produced beautiful grout lines. The holes are invisible. I also had several areas of light stains on the rough ceramic floor. I put a small amount of this product on a microfiber cloth and rubbed the stains and they disappeared. I would definitely recommend this for a black floor. The new grout lines are more glossy than the old ones but it’s not too noticeable and I hope with time and wear this will become less apparent.

Our countertop is black tiled granite. It was already here when we bought our home and the grout was starting to dissapear. I carefully applied the goo in this tube and let it sit. Wow! It's been 3 weeks and it's holding up to mess and cleaning. It looks great too. I was afraid it would be very black but it's a beautiful charcoal black. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs to have the look of new grout. Buy some 3m painter's tape before you start because you're going to need it.

3 tubes were so dried out they couldn't be used. I tried one small area to see how it managed. Peels off, is not a true black and faded spots are seen once dried. Don't waste your money on this crap. They know what they're selling.
