worked well for me. followed on package instructions. flow was good from pen. but i can't know now how long it remains good. time only tells. eventually it might dry up and peel ? will wait and see.

We used this in our kitchen as the grout ended up being too light when we put down new tiles. The pens are easy to use. Just follow the directions. One thing I STRONGLY suggest is getting extra nibs/tips if you’re doing a lot. Grout really tears up the tips and made it pretty difficult by the end of each pen. I looked at this product, read all the reviews, watched YouTube videos and read the instructions a million times. My grout was from 1986...when the house was built. It was dingy and had discoloring from years of use. We are selling soon and didn't want to redo the floor since all the tiles were in perfect shape. I used the dark grey, wide tip version but could have used the smaller tip. Either way, I did a small area at a time and carefully cleaned the edge of the tiles as I went. It looks beautiful. I hope it lasts. Bathroom is about 9x12 and had a ton left over so again, could have used the smaller pen.

1st REVIEW: I’ve been trying for a year without success to clean the grout in my kitchen, dining room, and two bathrooms. It’s supposed to be light brown, but there is some unknown substance all over it that just won’t come clean. No matter what I used, the grout would look the same within hours.I bought three of these pens to experiment in the bathrooms first. I just spent over an hour doing one bathroom and am very disappointed that it took all three pens! They are easy to use but not very durable. I was not using them roughly, but the tip on the first pen started to come apart after just a few minutes. It was a very frustrating process since the pens really don’t last long at all.I’m not thrilled with the results, but I think it’s better than what I started with. I’m anxious to see if the color stays.I wish I could get a refund, but instead I will have to order more because I don’t know anything else to try, and of course, I can’t find them anywhere locally.UPDATE: I did purchase four more pens and again used all four in the SMALLER 2nd bathroom! The pens are not very long lasting at all. They're like a bag of potato chips -- seems only half full. I was afraid I would run out before I finished. I think the grout looks better than it did, but I am not happy that the pens don't last a lot longer for the price I paid.

I'm not sure if the pen itself just doesn't have much paint in it, or if the pen was mostly dried up, but it only covered a very small area, maybe a total of about 8 feet in a straight line. My grout lines were about 1/4". I would not buy this again, and in fact had to go to a brick and mortar and buy a different product.

I changed the color of the grout on my ceramic tile. The grout is old but looks better with the darker color.

Easy to use and the results are great.Had some neglected tiles for over 25 years. Now that I finally finished the area I found the grout to be faded in many areas. I used the brown coloured pen and I am happy with the results. Odor was minimal and cleaning the areas where the colour went on the tiles was easy to clean with a damp rag. Granted my tiles were not porous.

These pens were so easy to use! I used two for this bathroom floor. But both pens really have more give in them. You just have to keep shaking and pumping them. And the slower the better. It comes out better. Just have some patience.I rent and these floors had like a mildew on them. It was disgusting the last renters rented for like 10 years and never cleaned. Ever! And my landloard is cheap and he was just like “just needs a cleaningâ€. But it wouldn’t come clean. I tried everything. So I ended up scrubbing the grout with a wire brush. Then using the grout pens. What a difference! I can now walk on the floors bare footed. Deff recommend for a quick fix! Get them. Worth it. Also my local hardware stores didn’t carry them!

Bought with a lighter colour so we could mix them to attain the colour we needed. Worked great, after experimenting the correct mix on a spare glazed tile.
